Clean, comfortable room, friendly staff, full English breakfast included in price and very reasonable rates. Bed overlapped the shower room door a bit and found shower room a bit cramped.

Me and my mum were staying at the tamworth arms with my 3year old twin boys as we were taking them to thomas land in drayton manor theme park, the location was brilliant as the theme park was only 3 mile up the road. When booking the room I assumed it was going to be in the tamworth arms building but when we got there it turned out where we were staying was like a bedsit in a seperate building joined on to the back of the pub which we all thought was great as that way we did not have to walk in and out of the pub with the children, the staff was really friendly, the chose of food you got for breakfast was great varying from full English to fruit and yoghurt, the evening food menu was great to with lots of chose and at great prices and wax all home made too. Nothing

Comfort, warmth of room.Ease of parking.Good food, well cooked.Good varied menu, not your usual pub GRUB.Well run establishment.Would certainly patronise again.Reserved a table for us even though they were busy, which was much appreciated. Nothing which they could control. The lousy weather! Mind you if they could have,I think would have tried.

I thought the whole experience was very good value for money, including the bar menu. The staff were very helpful, and despite being very busy, nothing was too much trouble. I was not disturbed at all by anyone leaving the pub at closing time. I was a bit put off at first, as the pub was very busy. However, the accomodation was surprisingly quiet, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay their again.

Everything - it is a PROPER pub which serves basic pub grub. The food was excellent as were the staff. The room was a cottage-like room in the car park - cosy and adequate. This is a budget venue which is ideal for visiting local attractions, notably the National Memorial Arboretum. If you like staying in pubs, this is a good one. I would have liked one 5% real ale, but now I am being picky!
