Probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! The room was very well presented with a contemporary feel. All staff very helpful and friendly without being too intrusive. Very pleasant atmosphere to the whole hotel. Unfortunately the single bed in my room was worn out and sagged to one side and had a very loose headboard. This meant I spent the whole night fighting to stay in the bed, and had to stuff a pillow against the wall and headboard. Though a car park is much appreciated it is poorly laid out and very hard to exit. |

Location to city centre was great, we could walk into city without any problem but a bus stop was right outside the hotel for those with mobility problems. Great breakfast too |

Friendly staff and very clean. Helpful regarding which bus to get into the city. Room not warm enough. Had to complain about the cold cooked breakfast, as payinjg £4.95 extra for this at least we felt we should expect a hot breakfast! |

I liked the personal service and open atmospere, the owner and his family made me feel at ´home also during my business trip. The location is excellent for visit to the nearby Unifersity of Cardiff which can be reached on foot within 10 minutes walk or by 3 minutes public ´bus. |

The bed was comfortable, heating adjustable, hangers wooden and came out of the wardrobe, towels plentiful, en-suite sparkled, breakfast plentiful and sevice was with a smile. Within walking distance of the shopping centre in an area that felt safe even around midnight. All at an excellent price. Well done. |

The Hotel was very clean, and the staff the most friendly we have ever come across. The car park could do with being a bit bigger, but we all got in, in the end. We had book 5 rooms in total, and the rooms at the back of the hotel were of course much quieter, and I should request one of these if we stayed again. The bus stop is so handy, and we would definately book again when we come to Cardiff. The room was spotless and would have got an 'excellent' mark but there had definately been a 'smoker' in the room before, and we had to request a fresh air spray to keep in the room, as we are non smokers, and found the smell quite a problem. |

Paid an economy price for an economy priced room , did what it said on the tin !! ideal for an overnight stop after visiting a local concert in the area,and if necessary would use again .Good parking and a "tidy" walk to the city centre, not ideal for everyone though No en-suite (was advised beforehand),but,at the price expected. |
