Views of Loch Lomond Very clean well appointed rooms Warm reception from our host Paula.
Poor water pressure in shower and regulating hot and cold. Poorly mark entrance to the property.
The owner Paula gave us a lovely warm welcome and gave us some suggestions on places to eat near by. The guest house is beautiful and cosy with some of the most stunning views. We had a suite (room 3) and I would definitely recommend this room to anyone. The balcony and views are worth every penny and the bed is huge and cosy.
Only downside was leaving to come home. No faults at all.
We booked the master suite which overlooked a well maintained garden and a super view of the loch. It had it's own private balcony where we sat and watched the cruise boats busy ferrying their customers to and fro. The bed was really comfortable. The suite also has a seperate TV and sitting room which is useful when one of you wants to go to bed early. The owner greeted us on our arrival. Paula was welcoming and chatty. She clearly has a passion for what she does and genuinely enjoys listening to other people's stories, their journeys and also about their lives. She is eager to please and makes you feel as comfortable as possible. She even booked us a nearby place to eat supper on our first night.
The room was clean apart from several large spiders who had crept in unnoticed and made webs in the corner above the bed (unfortunately my side). The radiator in the bedroom, despite being told it could be turned on, did not actually work so the bedroom was a little chilly at night. Sadly for those of you who enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast you need to eat elsewhere. Paula lays out a fairly decent continental spread consisting of continental cold meats, cheeses and fruit etc. The only hot food will be the bread items.
The romm was very large. The bed was very comfortable & the bathroom was big. All important things when you are travelling.
This wonderful place is in a spectacular location above Loch Lomond. We had a very warm welcome on arrival, with tea and shortbread, with recommendations for eateries and a booking made for us. Our room was fabulous with amazing Loch views, also a lounge relaxing area so the TV /tea making facs. were not in our bedroom. Also a wonderful bathroom. We felt very much at home here and very much wished our stay could have been longer than two days. Excellent breakfasts with table set by the windows for marvellous views. Wonderful, wonderful. This is on our list to return to in the near future.
Just a little difficult to find initially as the name is not by the roadside turning.
Paula is an excellent host, very personable and welcoming with a good local knowledge to help you plan your stay. The view of Loch Lomond from the large picture windows in the rooms is stunning. The rooms are huge with an additional room that acts as a lounge area plus a roof terrace. The bathroom is also expansive with a shower plus a Victorian style stand alone bath. By far the biggest accommodation we have ever rented other than apartments.
The location was perfect and would be so at anytime if the year and any weather. The room had a private balcony which was ideal. The lady owner was lovely. She had a good knowledge of everything local.
Beautiful views of Loch Lomond from our room. Paula was a lovely and helpful host.
Wi-fi access would be useful
The view of Loch. Lomond and Ben Lomond.
A very warm welcome was waiting for us when we arrived. Paula kindly recommended some local places to eat that evening and booked us in, which saved us having to drive round looking for somewhere. The continental breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Our room had a fabulous view of Loch Lomond which I reckon could not be beaten. We would definitely stay again next time we are in this area.
We were welcomed in by Paula, who offered us a drink. She then took us to our gorgeous room. Could not fault anything.
Beautiful rooms, extraordinary view, helpful owner
Loved every minute of our honeymoon here. Paula was just lovely, room, views everything was amazing
I didn't dislike anything.
Everything exceptional property five stars *****
That we only had 1 night here!!!
Very difficult to find, especially late at night
Friendly and very helpful owner.
Funtastic House, with funtastic people. We arrived late, and they provide keys and a message to receive us, very kindly from Paula. Fruits at Breakfast was excelent. The view from our room to loch lomond was the best we ever view!
No WiFi No cooked breakfast
Friendly reception, beautiful setting right on Loch Lomond and the most comfortable bedroom. We were directed to a very interesting place for dinner. What a great stay. I would highly recommend this wonderful B&B
Booked as a suprise for partners birthday after finding online and looking at all the beautiful pictures of the house but the pictures dont do it any justice it is even nicer in person and views are stunning paula is so helpful and such a wonderful friendly host the rooms and house itself are spotless and so nice the private balcony we had in our room and loch and hill views from our bed where amazing I cannot belive this is only a 45 min drive from the busy city so peacefull and tranquill just what we where after
Option to have snacks/food would be nice as well as an option for a cooked breakfast (own preferance)
No Wi-Fi Water pressure in shower very poor
fantastic host with great advice on the local area. views from the bedroom window are magnificent. Location spot on, quiet but lots of local amenities.
Bed too hard.
The owners were very friendly and they helped us every day with what to visit and where to eat out at night. The views from every room and the living room where we took the breakfast was just amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the nights there were very peaceful. The decoration was very warm and lovely. At the breakfast time they set some spanish music for us, what was a very nice gesture.
The breakfast was very nice and enough but they don´t cook anything and we missed some eggs or omelette. Apart from that, I would highly recommend them!! We absolutely loved it.
