The location is unbeatable!
Enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly hosts Paula even booked one of our evening meals in a local inn for us. Fantastic views of the loch and mountains from our room. This was our first destination of our 15 day holiday and a great start. We would definitely stay here again if in the area & have already recommended it to friends for next year.
The view - you will not get a better vantage point to look down Loch Lomond The quality of accommodation The warm welcome
Could have been the weather but that was great as well
We used the BnB as a base to go hiking. It was excellent- breakfast as continental with fresh fruit, the views were spectacular and Paula was extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely like to stay there again in the future.
Luxury room and balcony overlooking beautiful gardens and open views on Loch Lomond. The owners attract all types of wild birds with feeders and it was lovely to watch the birds feeding from our room. Paula was friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay again.
Views of Loch Lomond Very clean well appointed rooms Warm reception from our host Paula.
Poor water pressure in shower and regulating hot and cold. Poorly mark entrance to the property.
Got a warm friendly welcome from Paula, who was very helpful on advice about eating places. Our room was described as luxury and for a B&B it was. Large bedroom and large bath and shower room. Not expected was the en suite sitting room. The clear view down Loch Lomond was just stunning. Really missed having wifi access. The breakfast choice was excellent even though hot dishes are not available.
The duvet was 15 tog which is way too much for us, especially May to September, so Paula gave us a sheet and blanket instead. The breakfast room was sometimes very hot too.
Location, views, friendliness, lack of WiFi (really!), decor & furnishings. Good choice of continental breakfast.
Limited checkin in period (between 5 and 7pm) was difficult to plan after a long days travel. Perhaps between 3 - 7pm is more usual. Signage to find the guest house could be better - We annoyed the neighbour!
The owner Paula gave us a lovely warm welcome and gave us some suggestions on places to eat near by. The guest house is beautiful and cosy with some of the most stunning views. We had a suite (room 3) and I would definitely recommend this room to anyone. The balcony and views are worth every penny and the bed is huge and cosy.
Only downside was leaving to come home. No faults at all.
We booked the master suite which overlooked a well maintained garden and a super view of the loch. It had it's own private balcony where we sat and watched the cruise boats busy ferrying their customers to and fro. The bed was really comfortable. The suite also has a seperate TV and sitting room which is useful when one of you wants to go to bed early. The owner greeted us on our arrival. Paula was welcoming and chatty. She clearly has a passion for what she does and genuinely enjoys listening to other people's stories, their journeys and also about their lives. She is eager to please and makes you feel as comfortable as possible. She even booked us a nearby place to eat supper on our first night.
The room was clean apart from several large spiders who had crept in unnoticed and made webs in the corner above the bed (unfortunately my side). The radiator in the bedroom, despite being told it could be turned on, did not actually work so the bedroom was a little chilly at night. Sadly for those of you who enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast you need to eat elsewhere. Paula lays out a fairly decent continental spread consisting of continental cold meats, cheeses and fruit etc. The only hot food will be the bread items.
The romm was very large. The bed was very comfortable & the bathroom was big. All important things when you are travelling.
This wonderful place is in a spectacular location above Loch Lomond. We had a very warm welcome on arrival, with tea and shortbread, with recommendations for eateries and a booking made for us. Our room was fabulous with amazing Loch views, also a lounge relaxing area so the TV /tea making facs. were not in our bedroom. Also a wonderful bathroom. We felt very much at home here and very much wished our stay could have been longer than two days. Excellent breakfasts with table set by the windows for marvellous views. Wonderful, wonderful. This is on our list to return to in the near future.
Just a little difficult to find initially as the name is not by the roadside turning.
Paula is an excellent host, very personable and welcoming with a good local knowledge to help you plan your stay. The view of Loch Lomond from the large picture windows in the rooms is stunning. The rooms are huge with an additional room that acts as a lounge area plus a roof terrace. The bathroom is also expansive with a shower plus a Victorian style stand alone bath. By far the biggest accommodation we have ever rented other than apartments.
The location was perfect and would be so at anytime if the year and any weather. The room had a private balcony which was ideal. The lady owner was lovely. She had a good knowledge of everything local.
Beautiful views of Loch Lomond from our room. Paula was a lovely and helpful host.
Wi-fi access would be useful
The view of Loch. Lomond and Ben Lomond.
A very warm welcome was waiting for us when we arrived. Paula kindly recommended some local places to eat that evening and booked us in, which saved us having to drive round looking for somewhere. The continental breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Our room had a fabulous view of Loch Lomond which I reckon could not be beaten. We would definitely stay again next time we are in this area.
We were welcomed in by Paula, who offered us a drink. She then took us to our gorgeous room. Could not fault anything.
Beautiful rooms, extraordinary view, helpful owner
Loved every minute of our honeymoon here. Paula was just lovely, room, views everything was amazing
I didn't dislike anything.
