The staff were friendly. It was clean and in an excellent location. Close to the shops and right on the seafront. Beautiful view first thing in the morning
Breakfast was nice and service very prompt. The room was clean and spacious and was equipt for purpose. A very pleasant stay.
Bed mattress was quite hard and was difficult to find comfort apart from that a pleasant experience.
i liked the lay back feel of the hotel and the staff we saw were very pleasant.
only having 8.30 til 9. am to have a breakfast slot was a bit annoying if you are having a break from getting up early
The staff were friendly and helpful. Although very dated everything was clean and tidy. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms spotless.
The beds were on the firm side, and made a lot of noise on turning over. Some of the doors creaked... These are minor things really when the cost is considered.
The hotel from the outside is very deceiving but when inside the hotel is spotless!! Staff some of the most helpful staff we have every met and the breakfast for £4 is execeptional!' You can't even get a bacon sandwich in a cafe for that price let a lone a full breakfast!' This is our 2nd visit and we are planning to return again with other members of the family love it!!!
Clean, spacious room and friendly staff. Good location.
Exterior of the hotel is not appealing.
Made to feel welcome & amazing value.Hotel was clean also. Will recommend this hotel to friends over others in the area.
Only fair quality of sleep, but this was due to us having a big storm on the night of the stay and we had a sea view suite and it was nothing to do with the comfort of the beds, however it did make the windows rattle allot.I would think on any normal night the quality of sleep would be excellent.
The bed was very uncomfortable and lould! I'm quite a wriggler but every time I moved I woke myself up because it was such a lould creeky bed. There was also a fire or door alarm that went off at about 2:30am and there was something flapping and banging around outside which kept me awake. It was nice and stuff tho and in a great location so well worth the money.
Location, food and service were excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.
Very squeeky bed.
Staff were really helpful and friendly . Best value breakfast on the island . Hotel is very well placed on the seafront and close to all local amenities , bars etc . and ideal for what we wanted.
Beds a little hard and the building could do with some TLC but it was fine overall.
Hotel needs updating
Very clean and friendly staff. The breakfast was lovely and a good price.
Breakfast Started at 8.30 until 8.45. Not much time.
Close to sea and where I needed to be
Bed block the toilet door from openingfully and window opened by cleaners left open all day while I was out with access to a flat roof.
Sat across the road from Sandown Beach this hotel is ok for a short break. 5 minutes from town centre and pier. Breakfast was very good.
Outside of the hotel could do with a lick of paint. Bed was firm to say the least. Good luck if you find yourself on the top floor (no lift)!
Friendly staff, very clean and great location.
Beds were very hard and looked a bit like coffins! The whole place needs a bit of an update and breakfast all seemed a bit of a rush. But these didn't make our stay unpleasant
Rooms organised poorly down narrow hallways. Grubby patterned carpets. All windows need replacing. No parking. Breakfast very basic.
stayed in a family room with a fantastic sea view - staff were lovely & very friendly - hotel had character
had a lovely stay - felt maybe it could have done with just a few finishing touches - i.e just smartening up a little, maybe needing a womans touch!
The staff were friendly
The bed was too hard
Checked in very late (after 12am) without a problem.
1/- long dark hair in the morning coffee, 2/ old/ stinking milk 2/ up-front payment ??? and million other things, like bathroom window not opening ...
hard beds,noise from side road
double room was too small. bathroom too small/cheap French wine in bar.building site from lounge
No parking facilities
Room very small & dated, noisr levels with doors shutting made sleeping very limited. Service a breakfast slow due to under staffed. Defo not worth £80 a night for double room. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!!
