Tasburgh House Hotel

herrliche Hanglage mit einem wunderschönen Garten, die "Rezeption" war sehr bemüht, uns in der Organisation unserer Aktivitäten zu unterstützen (Fahrradtouren, Ausflüge)

entspricht nicht dem Standard eines 5-Sterne-Hotels, Badezimmer zu klein und in die Jahre gekommen, Zimmer insgesamt zu klein mit wenig Schrankfläche, Frühstück an allen 4 Tagen identisch (d.h. noch nicht einmal eine kleine Abwechslung im Obstangebot, das nach 2 Tagen an Frische auch zu wünschen übrig ließ, Zimmer waren relativ hellhörig, an 2 Vormittagen schreckten wir wegen eines fehlerhaften Feueralarms um 6.30 Uhr aus dem Bett

Sehr nett und gepflegt, die Besitzerin sehr bemüht um ihre Gäste und besonders liebenswürdig..

The staff were attentive and always polite, the location was amazing, great views of bath, the room was excellant. The owner, Sue, was really helpful ans we would go back to this hotel again.

Very high standard without being pretentious. Staff were friendly and helpful - nothing too much. Rooms were very comfortable, well set up and quiet. Close to the city, but felt like being in the country because of proximity to Bathhampton and the canal and village walk to the nearby pub.

Mentioned the confusion re sign-posting. A minor hitch which is being addressed, I understand.

Proprietor Sue Keeling always available. Attention to detail excellent. Nothing was too much trouble

The prompt service and guidance offered right from the minute I stepped inside the hotel!

One thing I would have liked is a stiffer bed because I am not used to sleeping in such soft fluffy beds as they are not good for the spine. I somehow didn't have a sound sleep only because of the bed(and because I am not used to it) else everything about my stay was excellent!!

The welcome on arrival and the service throughout our stay was excellent. There was plenty of parking space and only a short walk into the centre of town.

Unfortunately due to a water leak/broken pipes there were no evening meals available during our stay. This problem should be resolved in near future when

I enjoyed the breakfast, although it was only continental, and included in the price there was a huge variety on offer, something to suit anyone's taste.

I was in a single room and although extremely comfortable I found that the bed was too big for the room. Also it was too hot and I couldn't open a window.

Just returned form a three night stay at the Tasburgh. We found the staff very friendly and accomodating, the room comfortable, and the breakfast simply excellent. Sue the proprieter was always willing to help with restaurant recommendations for evening meals which we could not fault, every meal in establishments she suggested was absolutely delicious.
