Tasburgh House  

We had one of the best accommodation experiences in four weeks in the uk here in Bath. Tasburgh is an imposing property looking over the Avon valley. Sue is a friendly and professional hostess and the quality of the room we stayed in plus the other facilities (conservatory for breakfast, drawing room for drinks) were exemplary. Simple test - would we stay here again? Yes! Would we recommend to friends? Yes! It's a little out of town (30 minute walk) but the value, ambience etc easily offset that. And Bath is such a beautiful place it's nice to be in such a tranquil and luxurious place as Tasburgh House to consider it both before and after. Go here! You will not be disappointed. Basics - cleanliness and breakfast both excellent and free parking very appreciated.

The welcome we received on arrival was wonderful, the room was comfortable with a stunning view and the breakfast was delicious. Any request we had was dealt with immediately and with great charm. A lovely hotel. We will be back soon.

What a fantastic stay! From the very moment we were greeted at reception by Sue and staff to our leaving I felt a genuine aura that no request was too much, a service delivered with professionalism but in a warm friendly and very knowledgeable manner. Good English breakfast (supplement) and continental breakfast, comfortable beds and a shortish walk to the centre of bath with all of its Roman greatness! It was priced well, had ample parking but above all the staff were excellent! I would surely stay again!

I honestly cannot think of anything, perhaps only the feminine flowery room, but who cares, it was clean beyond belief, new and very comfortable. I do feel I am being rather picky with this comment!

Staff were extremely attentive and made me feel valued. The decor is in keeping with the house itself and spotlessly clean. It was a real treat to stay there.

The welcome from the African grey parrot, Charlie! The very nice owner, the location and the excellent breakfast.

Room was very hot at night making it very difficult to sleep. Double bed was made up of two singles and left and uncomfortable ridge in the centre. For the price of the room I would have thought a full English breakfast would have been included although the included breakfast was very good.

It is a lovely house with impressive stylish design and a bit Christmas atmosphere in this season. Sue is very nice and helpful to make you feel at home. I enjoyed everything.

Location is a bit far from center Bath.

Limited hot water at busy times

The hotel is very nicely renovated. Very Old England style with stylish furnture. Room is clean, tidy well decorated. We have five persons and we all enjoy our short stay very much. Will stay next time, highly recommend if visit to Bath, an elegant city.

The location was superb and staff very helpful and pleasant. The bedroom was not huge but very comfortable and the cleanliness was of a high standard. The continental breakfast was very good too. Would certainly stay there again.

Excellent food and service

Being charged extra for full English breakfast. We think it is cruel to keep birds in a cage of any description let alone one so small and in such a dull position.
