What a fantastic stay! From the very moment we were greeted at reception by Sue and staff to our leaving I felt a genuine aura that no request was too much, a service delivered with professionalism but in a warm friendly and very knowledgeable manner. Good English breakfast (supplement) and continental breakfast, comfortable beds and a shortish walk to the centre of bath with all of its Roman greatness! It was priced well, had ample parking but above all the staff were excellent! I would surely stay again! I honestly cannot think of anything, perhaps only the feminine flowery room, but who cares, it was clean beyond belief, new and very comfortable. I do feel I am being rather picky with this comment!

The staff was very accommodating. Whatever I needed they were there to help. Whether it was transportaion, site-seeing or dinner recommendations. They also are licensed so can provide wine and spirits as requested. They even helped me shipped some extra items I had accumulated during my trip. In addition, the room itself was both comfortable and luxurious.

The welcome from the African grey parrot, Charlie! The very nice owner, the location and the excellent breakfast. Room was very hot at night making it very difficult to sleep. Double bed was made up of two singles and left and uncomfortable ridge in the centre. For the price of the room I would have thought a full English breakfast would have been included although the included breakfast was very good.

It is a lovely house with impressive stylish design and a bit Christmas atmosphere in this season. Sue is very nice and helpful to make you feel at home. I enjoyed everything. Location is a bit far from center Bath.

The hotel is very nicely renovated. Very Old England style with stylish furnture. Room is clean, tidy well decorated. We have five persons and we all enjoy our short stay very much. Will stay next time, highly recommend if visit to Bath, an elegant city.

The location was superb and staff very helpful and pleasant. The bedroom was not huge but very comfortable and the cleanliness was of a high standard. The continental breakfast was very good too. Would certainly stay there again.

Near the city of Bath Disorganization of owner--they promised us early breakfast and then forgot about it --they forgot about everything. In the middle of the night the emergency light went on over our BED--it stayed on until morning. Just as we finally fell asleep an announcement came on loud speaker-- the owner pressed the wrong button and woke us up again. For three nights every time anyone flushed the toilet there was a loud water hammering whistle in our room. Awful!!

Beatifully located close to Bath with a fantastic view. Good breakfast This is not a luxury hotel as described on the web. To highly priced. Staff not flexible when you want to choose a breakfast table of your own liking. Water steaming hot in the shower and it was impossible to adjust to normal while maintaining water pressure. Fan or pump going on and off all night close to our room all night which prevented us to have a good night's sleep. Requested rooms not available in spite of confirmation only three days before visit
