After a warm welcome, including a chirp from Charlie the parrot, we were shown to a very comfortable room complete with B&O TV set that rotated to face the bed. Well decorated and attentive staff. Nothing was too much. Having to pay extra for breakfast variants. |

Sue the owner was outstanding. She was there 24-7 and nothing was any bother. She even arranged for our room to be ready early as we had travelled overnight to Bath. Her staff were more than helpful and the continental breakfast she offers is excellent and the full English breakfast at a small cost was excellent too. Absolutely nothing but telling you this I might not be able to get a room next time! |

Lovely location, the gardens at the back are beautiful. It was lovely to walk through the gardens and along the canal tow path into Bath. Very comfortable bed. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. |

Excellent service surroundings breakfast location and the little touches that made it special ie organic toiletries sumptuous furnishings.... Our bedroom was at the top of the house had sloping turret ceilings and hit my head on several occasions and I am only 5ft 6ins tall !!!!!!! Feel that price should be reflected accordingly Disappointed that Dinner was not available that week end after it being suggested that arrangements could be made |

Tea in the solarium in the afternoon was delightful. The view over Bath is exceptional and the walk along the canal from the bottom of the property was an unexpected delight. For elder guests, the three filghts of stairs to some of the rooms is a challenge. We would not have picked this hotel if we had known this room arrangement. |

The owner went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast served in the conservatory was absolutely delightful - we loved the banana porridge ! Will definitely come back. next time we would book a room with a king size bed |

Very comfortable, tried to accomodate most needs, family run so tended to be more relaxed and informal. I enjoyed the ambience.Very convenient for Bath and a nice walk in. Very disappointed that after a hard days travelling I had to find an alternative venue for an evening meal as none were available this particular evening. This then becomes overpriced just for B & B. |

beautiful view, fresh food, orange juice machine, creativity put into everything, helpful owner, meadows, terrace, relaxed elegant atmosphere, room leading onto terrace (but see below). our room (15) was quite a bit smaller than we expected, and our duvet was very hot during the night. also our wardrobes smelt unpleasantly of damp. |

The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the rooms are splendid, (we stayed in the family room 'Shelley') and the breakfast is refreshing. The walk from the hotel through the garden and along the canal into town is well worth the effort. |

The friendliness of the staff, the attention to detail (there was even an extension socket in the bedroom to assist with the use of the hair dryer), and the setting (beautiful grounds). |
