Good basic hotel in easy to find position our bathroom smelt heavily of cigarette smoke on our arrival, even though it was a non smoking room. When reported to reception it was stated that it may come from smoking rooms on the lower floor and be transfered through the ducting system. The engineer was to be asked to investigate. |

Easy check in , great to be able to take well behaved dogs at no extra cost , and not having to take a lower standard room because of them ! ON booking form , requested quiet room on graound floor & was allocated that. Good breakfast , area cleaned reguarly. We thanked the cheerful & energetic staff for a good stay The double bed matterss was the sort that if one peron turned it woke the other up bouncing ! So didn't get a good nights sleep because of that ! Otherwise no complaints ! |

The Hotel had a good sized car park. The male Receptionist was extremely helpful providing an emergency toothpaste for us. The room was exceptionally clean and the furniture well laid out. |

Reason for staying was: location, rate, facilities and dog friendly The only critictism I have was the TV had not been updated since staying with before, a few years ago. The hotel was recently refurbished I understand and looks great, however the TV could be improved. |

Nothing in particular - we were part of a group attending a function at another Holiday Inn nearby. We simply slept in this Holiday Inn, making no use of the bar or restaurant facilities other than breakfast. The breakfast was poor - very limited choice and awful, undrinkable coffee. |

The hotel is clean, quiet and the staff are helpful. The WiFi is not easily connected to, and there is a charge, which is not obvious from the hotel adverts. It is also a little on the expensive side for what is baically a budget hotel. |
