A bit disjointed going to rooms due to property extention
The hotel was very clean, the staff very polite and always helpful, my second stay and I will deffinately return,
the hotel, staff and facilities were overall excellent and value for money.
the Italian restaurant adjoined to the hotel was sub-standard. the staff came across rude and the meal (lasagne) was more pub grub and tasteless. the hotel room was far too hot (couldn't reduce the heat setting).
Check in was quick and hassle free. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The bathroom was again spacious and very clean. Excellent Value for money with stunning sea views.
Close to sea front, friendly staff and excellent service great value for money....
Restaurant was very good but we were placed below noisy extractor. Excellent location on sea front. Free parking. Good buffet breakfast.
Very small room & noisy neighbours!
Staff very helpful
Long walk to room lots of stairs
Pleasant reception staff Fresh milk and cake on arrival
Mould in the shower Cobwebs above the bed Unsafe stairs leading to my room Dated and tired décor Uncooked/ toast with scrambled egg Noisy cleaning staff early morning
The way the bed was made, once you pulled the duvet out from the side you virtually had to remake the bed
Good food & bar prices Friendly staff
Bathroom could do with a makeover. Some of the floor tiles were becoming a bit loose
The attention to detail of the staff, the breakfast was a pleasure, the evening meal in the bar was good and value for money, the room although small was fine and the price was excellent
The step up to the bathroom
The friendly welcome from the staff made you feel at home . The room was very good lots of room also a fantastic bathroom, plus a big comfortable bed. Lovely to look out onto the sea. A god time was had by all. Excellent Italian restaurant very good value for lovely tasty food plus friendly staff
Easy 20 minute walk from stadium of light metro and football ground. nice bar and restaurant. Included breakfast. Can't really fault it.
Difficult to get the TV going but that in my experience seems to be an issue with many hotels.
Friendly staff Complimentary cake, fresh milk, hot-water bottle and slippers! Huge (comparatively speaking) bathroom. Very clean. Free wifi
Very small room in the basement area A long way from reception No mobile phone signal (in my basement room anyway)
Friendly staff Good Bar Meals Good value Clean Powerful shower Good breakfast (just a bit slow for cooked option, so allow time) Easy efficient check in and check out
I was allocated Room 103:- Not yet refurbished so tired, dull decor. Creaky Floor View was a wall and flat roof Very warm even with heating off. TV at too high a height coupled with poor seating is uncomfortable for viewing.
Nice room very nice bathroom.Good breakfast lots choice staff very helpful.
Room a long way from reception.Quite noisy at night.
all perfect！！love so much
Spacious room (no. 145) Shower really powerful and plenty of hot water Clean Great value for money Fantastic breakfast Friendly staff
nothing to put here!
the stay was shattered when my wife fell down the outside steps of the hotel which where wet and no signs to say anything it caused a 5 day stay in sunderland hospital which caused quite a lot of extra expense
Location and value for money including options for eating.
Late night noise from bar below and outside which we weren't advised about.
breakfast (not much choice, person mixing the orders)
Friendly staff and great location.
Our room was in the basement and it was tiny small with really noisy heating that kept us awake. Was woken really early on Sunday morning with banging doors and people on the stairs.
Oh this was a delight - old building recently refurbished rooms. I was in the lower decks but room was well appointed - good bathroom and pillows passed the test. Biccys on the tea tray - complimentary turn down was charming. Staff were cheerful, helpful and smiley. Sea front location - hadn't even checked that before booking - and great view of the ocean at breakfast . Breakfast test passed on both mornings - poached eggs perfect. Car park - test your hill start skills!
Location Food view.
