Good location the fact that on both nights we stayed we could not sleep due the extremely loud music being played downstairs until 2am. Also one of the rooms I booked was full of glass and paint due to a shattered shower door that had not been cleared up.

First looks was not impressive . But on getting inside. My smile got bigger. Then when we got. To the room & got inside. It was a big wow . The cleaner came into our room while we was at breakfast. It was only 09.00 am. My wife's bag was on the bed with everything in it. The door was wide open & the ckeaner was in the bathroom. Anybody could have taken it. They should not come & clean untill we have checked out. We was not happy. Must be sorted !!!

Stayed in the executive premier room with sea views and breakfast. Lovely room, super breakfast and stunning view, lived up to expectations. First class 3 star hotel. Recommended. If you want to delve a little deeper, some of the diy maintenance around the hotel could do with a little updating. There was nothing we could fault, you get what you pay for and it's a very good 3 star hotel.

The friendliness of the staff , the prompt service, the cleanliness of the rooms and the view from the bedroom window. Carpets in the corridor could do with replacing or relaying

Accross the road from the beach, great bar and resturant Stayed in room 107 very small single room. The water tank for the whole hotel above my room fills up all night so couldnt sleep, then 7am they delivered the beer barrels right underneath my window. Great hotel, but dont stay in room 107.

It was a great location and very close to everything we needed. Our room was upgraded to a bridal suite so we had a lovely big bed and bath for the same money. We were told that the Hotel staff was limited due to the time of year, and we did not expect a full English breakfast, but I wish it had been pointed out to us on booking that we would only be getting a Continental Breakfast. It arrived late and we had no cutlery. We didn't bother to order any on day two.

All of the above The staff in the Italian restaurant needs a special thanks for serving me with food and keeping open til after closing time. Being a chronic diabetic this actiion needed a special mention My sleep was disturbed, by a group of Army personnell who kept me awake til 3: 00 am. I did complain next morning and was told that other people also complained if this was the case why was`nt anything done by your secutity at the time?

The hotel was good, clean and tidy, one minor problem was a hotel party where the music went on into the early hours albeit it did not effect our rest Breakfast was excellent, as was the bar meals that were available. The staff could not be faulted, clean tidy and helpful, I would have no problem in recommending this hotel or staying again

Great and modern room, good breakfast, in the first line of the beach. It's not in downtown Sunderland but, believe me, that's better.

Staff were very freindly and accommodated an early breakfast start due to the Great North Run. Rooms could be booked for after the race if you would like a shower and a freshen up. Room was large and very clean with a great bathroom. Attached to the Hotel is a large bar that gets very busy with the local people. The bar had a dj on saturday and was very loud until the early hours. Although my sleep was not affected, a light sleeper would be.

The location at the sea front was excellent. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent as was the Italian restaraunt next door. Room was too warm. Bed was not that comfortable. Walls are very thin so noise was an issue. Housekeepers entered room in the morning without warning.
