There is a need for some investment in the fabric of the hotel .. paint, carpets etc. I felt that the cost was just alittle below 'value for money' |

Easy going, layed back approach. Quite setting / location. Not really a country hotel, as it is set in the middle of a housing estate, little disappointed with that? |

Food was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel has a traditional Scottish countryside feel with decor aimed at the gaming environment. The owners are obviously working hard to renovate this hotel. Bed looked comfortable however was actually two beds joined together. Was uncomfortable when I rolled onto the join. |

The hotel was like a fishing / hiking lodge, lots of character - creaky wooden staircase, tartan carpet and well stocked bar downstairs. Scottish breakfast was delicous and prepared to order. Stanley Mill was a short walk from the hotel an interesting museum and scenic view over the Tay. |
