We were put in an attic room which was fine as I did book rather late but was disapointed that there was no shower and the bath was very small. I think £90 for 1 night was quite expensive.

Staying at the Tayside Hotel you feel completely out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life.As soon as you walk into the hotel you are met by friendly faces who can't do enough for you. They are all there to please you. Nothing is too much trouble. We stayed at the Tayside last year when we visited the Scottish Game Fair, we found it to be extremely easy to travel to the Game Fair from Stanley without getting caught up in the traffic jams. So consequently that was another reason to come back to the Tayside this year. We will certainly be going back next year. If we can make it we will be back sooner.

We loved the warm welcome received from Kirsty who was running the Tayside Hotel whilst the owners were on holidays. She really made us feel "at home", nothing was too much trouble - even organised an early cooked breakfast on our first morning. Food was excellent on both nights of our stay. Real Ales must be sampled! We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Relaxed and informal ambience with excellent breakfast and reasonable cost dinner at night in Fisherman's Bar/ Restaurant. Very attentdive owner/staff who dealt with heater fault in bathroom by supplying a free standing space heater which worked vey effectively. Didn't care for the brown colour of decor in the bedroom.

I couldn't fault the staff, hotel and facilities. The breakfast menu had a great choice and the residents bar also served good food at a reasonable price. Hotel was children friendly and I wouldn't hesitate in returning. The lack of wireless internet connection for the children. They, like me, really enjoyed their stay but would appreciate the internet to enable them to keep in touch with friends etc.

Es un hotel con encanto porque es un edificio antiguo con escaleras de madera y enmoquetado, típico hotel inglés.el desayuno completo es bueno. La unica pega es que no tiene ascensor, depende de las maletas que lleves cuesta subir.

Kiva, iso, viihtyisä huone, johon mahtui 4-henkinen perhe mukavasti. Auttavaista henkilökuntaa.Siisti. Perhehuone oli juhlahuoneiston yläpuolella. Lauantaina sattui olemaan juhlahuoneistossa bileet, ja meteli kyllä kuului huoneeseen.

“Our bedroom in the hotel annex was very peaceful, large and comfortable with the added bonus of a balcony overlooking the gardens and River Tay. Each night we retuned to immaculately cleaned rooms. Breakfasts were excellent, with a wide choice, served by friendly, efficient staff. Although we have had dinner in the hotel on a previous visit in February 2008, we chose this visit, as the days were longer and as we were travelling about visiting various local places of interest, to eat out .On our last evening however we did enjoy a bar meal from the all day menu which was served to us in the lounge. This was very enjoyable and again the service was excellent. ” Fiona, Inverness |
