We stayed here on the way back from the far north of scotland and the location was perfect for our journey. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was tasty with a good choice and overall it was good value for money.

The staff were excellent, friendly and flexible to suit my particular needs which were slightly out of theo ordinary.

Mobile phone reception was poor but that was not anything the hotel could do much about and would not stop me from returning.

The staff were very pleasant. The bar food was very good indeed and they also sold a local real ale which was excellent. I would stay again.

Very accommodating staff who arranged an early check in for us since we were going to a wedding locally, comfortable family room, good breakfast and a very convenient location.

This hotel looked unprepossessing, and in fact was once a hostel for the nearby Stanley Mills workgirls, so is still called sometimes 'the henhouse'. But the room was fine, the plumbing worked and both dinner and breakfast were very good. The location is handy for Perth with lots of fine country round about although the hotel itself is in a fairly unprepossessing wee village.

Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Very good food whicvh has been the case for a number of years as we have stayed there previously.

Fire doors that are heavy to open at the top of each flight of stairs [two] and they open right out onto the stairs - difficult to negotiate particularly when carrying luggage and/or bags. Staircase etc quite dusty - cold tap on bath totally jammed but staff sorted immediately. Lamp on dressing table not working - new bulb needed.

very clean , spacious hotel ,staff very friendly , no trouble at all bringing our small dog , excellent stoping off point when travelling up from the north east to the highlands will definitely call back again , hopefully to thicker curtains in the family room

Comfortable, warm and welcoming. Perfect nights sleep. An excellent stop over travelling from North Yorkshire to Lochinver to stay with friends.

Very welcoming. Great breakfast. Pleasant family room. Relaxed about the children. Ideal stopover on our journey north to the Highlands. Enjoyed an unexpected visit to Stanley Mills before carrying on with our journey.

Das Tayside Hotel hat schon die besten Jahre hinter sich, es ist schmudelig, dafür hat es eine gute Küche.

Accueil très chaleureux de notre famille. Nous y avons dîner le soir, cuisine simple et excellente. Un hôtel qui fait également pub et restaurant, très typique et qui vaut vraiment le détour.

Sehr freundliche MItarbeiter, gute Lage, nettes Zimmer. Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut und günstig. Ruhig gelegen, mit guter Anbindung an die Stadt.
