Great location, the host was very kind and friendly, the room was comfortable.
The heater inside the bedroom was not warm enough in winter.
Phill was a very welcoming host, nothing was too much trouble.
I had an early appointment at Bangor hospital so this was very convenient. Thank you
bed was hard and too short.
Owner was extremely accommodating. Basic but warm clean and relaxing
the bloke that runs it is brilliant. the bed was big a comfy wifi steady and fast breakfast was pretty damn good. heaps of toast right in the middle of town. everything is near by. food, beers, everything.
the weather. not nearly as hospitable as brilliant man that runs tegfan.
Quiet location close to the town walls. An excellent full English breakfast was provided at 7am,even though breakfast wasn't usually provided before 8am.
The staff were amazing, breakfast was good but would of been good if you could select out of a few options Great Location Phil is a legend and very helpful
Parking was a bit hit and miss and the wifi didn't work the best up the top in our room
Location was perfect. Room was clean. Nice tv/dvd player!
The welcome I received was appalling!! Was made to feel uncomfortable from the word go. The room was freezing, radiator had been left off, turned it on in the evening, but never got warm!
Phil is a great host. Not everybody's cup of tea as he can come across as slightly abrupt. I call this being a typical scouser with a very dry sense of humour. Great breakfast, comfy bed and no shortage of hot water in the morning. Will be booking again for next year. Cheers Phil .
We really enjoyed the location and our host Phil was great.
Wished we could have stayed longer !
The owner was very friendly and the location was excellent, right next to the castle and sea front, a short walk away from anywhere in the town and Snowden is a short drive too.
The bed had an uncomfortable mattress and the walls were relatively thin so we heard when next door was getting up in the morning, especially when their door slammed.
Great location, cracking breakfast, and good value foe money
Large 3-bed room with comfy bed
No real dislikes
IT WAS CLEAN COMFORTABLE AND COSY. CLOSE TO WHAT WE WANTED BREAKFAST WAS EXCELANT.
DIFFICULTY IN PARKING OUT SIDE OF PROPERTY AT TIMES.
Excellent loation inside the town walls.
Non en-suite room was basic but adequate with a hand basin in the room. The owner is a bit of a character. He seems to get a bit exasperated at times but otherwise is very helpful.
Friendly staff,comfortable bed & good food.Central location,close to Castle & harbour.
parking was not easy. Shared toilets & showers
Cheap and informal, location at the heart of medieval Caenarfon. Ideal next step up from the travelers hostel round the corner. To get free wif fi, a large room with a TV for the price payed in season in a busy tourist town is excellent. No problems getting a hot shower and a decent breakfast.
Some people may find the owners humour a touch odd, treat it as his attempt to be memorable and friendly and its not a problem. Not exactly luxurious or spotlessly clean, some of the fixtures and fittings have seen better days but fine if you're not looking for high end accommodation. Both times Ive been here I've managed to park right outside but if you cant get in there free long stay parking nearby is very limited.
The gentleman in charge of the hotel ,Phil, friendly helpful and welcoming. Nice place, clean good breakfast.
Phil (the proprietor) was lovely, very welcoming and helped us up with our bags. The triple room was very comfortable and large with a tv screen and dvd player included. The location of the guesthouse was amazing, right by Caernarfon Castle and the town centre. Breakfast was great, including a choice of cereals, orange juice, tea or coffee and a full English cooked breakfast with lots of toast! Gave us a lot of energy to burn off for the day :-)
The only thing we did not expect was that we had booked an "ensuite" room and arrived to find that the bathroom was located at the end of the hall and shared by three rooms on the same floor. However, it was still a comfortable and clean arrangement with two separate, enclosed shower stalls and two toilet stalls available to use, so there weren't any clashes at any time.
owner Phil is very nice, friendly and chatty. The apartment was suitable for family and located in the back of the property which was private and quite. Kitchen facility could be better and cleaner.
Very good location. One minute walk from the castle. Toilets and shower rooms to share was not so bad. Lovely cat. You can use the Wifi for free although Booking.com states there's no Wifi service. Helpful and friendly owner and staffs. If you liked the eccentric English owner, this B&B would be one of the best places to stay in Caernarfon.
No cleaning in the room during stay.
Friendly as ever with a warm welcome & attention to detail.
Room was right next to toilet facilities with fan running for 10 minutes per visit.
