The Cliff Hotel & Spa, hotel in Cardigan

This renowned hotel features one of the most breathtaking views and marine locations in Wales, overlooking Cardigan Bay, the rugged coastline, the Teifi Estuary and the broad sweep of Poppit Sands.

Hotel is in a beautiful location, the most comfortable beds! A really fabulous night's sleep. Gorgeous walks down to the beach and around the caves. The spa was lovely and every member of staff around the hotel was super friendly, helpful, polite.... just really good people! A special shout out to Elaina on reception. We hadn't planned on staying at this hotel, we stumbled across it whilst camping and I'm so glad we did. I will definitely come back for a planned, longer visit in the Summer. My only criticism would be breakfast, while the hot selection is really good, the fruit and pastry's were poor quality and it showed, they were really un-appetising. But that is a minor, on the whole fabulous stay and will be back.

Incredible views across the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park can be enjoyed from Gwbert Hotel’s bistro.

Beautiful views over the water. Wonderful views from the room. Clean, comfortable and quiet room. You can walk to some really neat cliff walks and even get down to the shore by going through the cliff hotel next-door. Breakfast was delicious!

Flambards Hotel, hotel in Cardigan

Located in Cardigan, 25 miles from Oakwood Theme Park, Flambards Hotel provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace.

Fabulous stay, the proprietors were warm and welcoming. Gave great tips of things to see in the area and a little further out. The pub was a haven after a busy day touring about. The restaurant was excellent and interesting to cook your own protein. There was a gas bar a block away and a fish & chip shop that was doing a very brisk business.

Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages, hotel in Cardigan

Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages offer 5 luxurious self-catering cottages, 4 miles from Cardigan in west Wales, as well as farmhouse bed and breakfast accommodations.

If you need a getaway from city life, this is it. 15 minutes from the property were 2 waterfalls (Tresaith & FFynone), well worth a visit when you are down. Upon arrival at the cottages, you drive down a long fairytale driveway with a beautiful stream, easy parking outside then opposite the cottages are brown fluffy sheep & a Shetland pony in the field, birds tweeting! Tranquil surroundings, but near enough to the coast & nearby towns. Our cottage was spotless & charming, had everything we needed. The owner Rob was really lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore more. 🌳🌷🪺🪵🦋

Trenewydd Farm Holiday Cottages, hotel in Cardigan

Trenewydd Farm Holiday Cottages offers accommodations in Cardigan, 27 miles from Oakwood Theme Park and 27 miles from Folly Farm.

My family and I spent a few days here recently and we loved it. The whole place was lovely. The owners were so helpful and really nice. There was a gorgeous outdoor heated swimming pool and a hot tub outside our accommodation. My family spent a great afternoon playing the huge outdoor chess game and the kids loved the play area. The beds were really comfortable and the place was so clean. It felt so luxurious and we were sorry to have had only booked a short stay here. We will be back and would highly recommend this holiday cottage.

Cardigan Castle disappointing, not much to see, may be of more interest to somebody wanting historical facts. To me a waste of time and money. Castle virtually non existent. Cardigan is a town that time has forgotten! For that it is pleasantly quaint. Nice cafes. Probably better on a fine day!

Quite a quaint town during the day but at night it does come alive especially the pubs. A really lovely range of shops and food places. A visit to the castle is a must. The best places are often the ones reccomended by locals. 2 days just wasn't enough for me, as just a little further out was glorious bays, beaches and mountains but more spectacular was the waterfalls

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather.

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather. Went for a few walks on the coastal pathways which had breathtaking views. Cardigan was 10 minutes away by car. Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Crwst. This is a must for anyone visiting the area. Great pasta lunch at Berlotti's. A fairly good variety of shops in Cardigan. We also visited Theatre Mwldan during our stay to watch the latest Poirot film.

Not a great deal in the town and much is shut early in the week including restaurants and bars but there are some gems. The Copper Pot serves excellent food and the welcome at the Black Lion Hotel could not be warmer.

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely home and rooms just outside of Cardigan. Wonderful fresh cut up fruit is served with your breakfast. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating. We needed an earlier breakfast in order to catch the Poppit Rocket bus to hike a stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The approximate mile long road approaching the lodging is a typical narrow country lane (with turnouts) that can be a little nerve wracking for those not accustomed to narrow roads. This establishment is well worth the drive down to it.

Lovely room, very comfortable beds. Location was excellent as we were visiting the surrounding area for 3 days. No breakfast available due to Covid restrictions but not a problem. Bonus to have free parking in front of hotel and so close to the town too. The owners were lovely and we greeted by both at various times of the day. Nothing was too much trouble. Also gave us details of where to visit in the area.

Superb location, close to so many towns, villages and beaches. Had a lovely stay. The Cottage is on the site of the beautiful Penrallt Country House Hotel in Aberporth which is a lovely setting. Short drive to Cardigan, which is what we wanted; places to eat... PizzaTipi, The Copper Pot, El Salsa, Stiwdio 3 Cafe for breakfast. Try 'A Bay to Remember' for boat trips

The location is superb for town, yet was very quiet, even in the garden. The garden is lovely and has adequate privacy (great for yoga!). The cottage is very comfortable, relaxing and tastefully furnished. There was thorough information about the house, appliances, services and local area provided by the host in 2 well stocked files. Would definitely rebook.

The site was secure, safe and central to the town and West Wales with lovely views of the river. The room was beautifully furnished and finished. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was fascinating to stay somewhere with such a depth of history. Although the castle is in the centre of the town it is peaceful and private. It was a privilege to stay there.

We arrived around 8 pm and were still able to check in before the cut off time. Free parking for our car (although the parking area is tiny...I read there is a secondary lot in case the first one is full). Fully equipped kitchen. Our room was bare bones but clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was also very clean. Nice hot water shower. Great price!

Breakfast was good quality food. The view from dining room is over the bay and would be the envy of many hotels. We had dinner on two evenings, with good choices on the menu. The standard double room was adequate, and the bed comfortable. The large shower was a lovely surprise.

Due to covid restrictions it is very difficult to give a reasonable opinion of the hotel. We missed the evening meal and it is a VERY quiet little village. Breakfast was fine as were the rooms. I've no reason not to go again when circumstances are better.

Location was great. Cardigan is a beautiful place and the town centre is within meters of the cottage which is perfect. The cottage has great potential if it wasn't for the cleanliness issue. It was very disappointing.
