Score from 430 reviews Very good
Good customer service, warm comfortable rooms and a pleasant stay.
Long wait for the meal (30 mins after ordering), slightly higher priced than I usually expect.
I complained 4 times that my radiator didn't work - but nobody came to look. My steak wasn't good, and the steak knife was completely blunt so almost impossible to eat it
I use this hotel quite often coz I comute bk and forth a lot between Telford and Manchester
The hot water in the shower was too hot I complained abt this during my stay in room 219 and we got two single beds as to 1double bed which was required
Staff were so friendly, nothing was a trouble. Food in restaurant was very good.
Cleanliness of room and food in restaurant
Staff were friendly and efficient, spa was nice ,room was large and the bed was comfy
The hotel was too warm at night ,so book a room on the higher floors so at least you can open a window
near the town centre . asked for top floor and walk in shower and i was pleased as this request was granted . its close to the railway station etc . gym is handy and staff there are good and very helpfull . reception staff are also good at there roll there the cleaners are also helpfull and friendly .
the breakfast is very very poor the staff at breakfast need replacing , when you ask for something its to much trouble for them . the breakfast is cold, fresh fruit ? is still frozen , your not allowed to sit where you would like to ,your told you cant use part of the breakfast room . i am due to return to telford again soon and i always book this hotel but i dont think i will return to this hotel . i dont like to complain and so its better not to return as things dont seen to be better . the things i have listed are the same as when i stayed there a few months ago . this hotel named as a radisson is going to spoil the good name of radisson hotels
The speed with which we were moved to a different room after mentioning to reception we had been woken at 3am. This move was tempered by the lift becoming inoperative after moving up to the second floor.
Being woken at 3am by noise of rain drumming onto metal ducting outside room window. Maybe a leaking gutter above was directing this flow of water? Room was excessively hot even with radiator turned off. Lift out of order.
Disgusting machine coffee in restaurant. No toiletries provided. Very cold and noisy room. Wifi very weak. This hotel caters for business people so has the bare essentials.
Food improved since last stay
seating in the bar
Location and facilities are excellent for our needs
Bar and food prices are excessive.
Location of hotel to motorway and to the shopping centre was excellent. Dinning room was lovely and had plenty of room to move about, especially for someone using walking aids. Staff were very attentive.
Had difficulty getting in/out shower due to mobility problems. on 2nd morning coming out shower discovered only 1 towel had been left. previously all towels had been up on shelve, above eye level. receptionist not very responsive/apologetic.
We booked a double room, had a king size bed (2 singles together - maybe?).Very comfy and 32"TV opposite bed . everything was perfect. All modern and clean.Liked the 4 welcome biscuits, nice touch. Second stay here, will be coming back next year . Shower gel tiny, but always bring our own.Lovely hotel, 5 minute walk to shopping centre and free parking, so no taxi needed.
Quality of food, staff couteous
Booking.com made an error when I made an additional booking for a work colleague. Despite being made for the Saturday night and presented with a copy of the booking their system had it recorded as a Friday and tried to charge for a 'no show'. Of course when you deal with different staff at different times you cannot get any consistancy in trying to resolve the issue.
the bar prices are a rip off two stella ciders dag crips £11-20 you can buy two bottles of stella cider for les than £3-50.
Pleasant staff, good food, fair price
Shower, mold around window, bottom sheet of bed kept coming off in the night, TV in lounge needs replacing
Well situated for town centre and exhibition centre. Hotel rooms have been refurbished and are really comfortable.
Lack of double glazing, wi fi really slow, tray charge for room service
Location for nearby expo centre was ideal. Free parking & fast lift to various floors make accessibility easy.
Rooms were like a Furness. No drinking water in rooms. Dice sized shampoo only available. Loo roll was rationed too.. Prices for breakfast, food & drink were horrific. Barman was nice but needed to skill up. Some Colleagues were uniquely charged an additional €100 on booking in (for some odd insurance fee as if we were intending to rob the place) Lastly the hotel had the charactoristics of road kill sadly..
The Hotel was well placed for road access and for travel to the International Centre. It was smart, modern looking and comfortable. Breakfast was very good but the bar prices seemed very high.
My room with the adjoining door was very noisy, it felt like the guests in the next room were in mine! I admit this is designed for families but when not in use by families it is not very private.
Rooms were too warm for me and there didn't seem to be a way to control temperature. My wife thought it was great though.
Bed quality Room/bathroom elegant design Comfort Nice fitness club with swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi.
Internet extremly slow at any time of the day (<512Kbit/s, and I wasn't far from the WiFi router) No air con. in the room.
Excellent Room Friendly Staff Excellent Restuarant service
Difficult to find walking from the rail station in the dark.
was really cold in my room & i asked for a heater - 2 hours later i got a call to say they didnt have any and staff was abit rude...
