We stayed with the children for one night as a stop over on route to Wales. I must say that the staff where excellent and in particular a chap called Terry for which nothing was too much trouble. Lovely rooms, great swimming pool and the breakfast was varied and fresh. Convenient location just off the M54 close to a huge retail park. All round a top stay and highly recommended.

The rooms where large and at a very good price. The swimming pool was great. The customer service was lacking. This might of been because it was Christmas and staff were being relaxed but it was not what I expect from a 4* hotel. In the 2 nights I stayed not once was there someone on reception but always outback. No-one at breakfast but again in the kitchen. Breakfast was very average. The rooms although large did need updating. For me customer service is a priority and for this reason I will not be staying here again.

It was very clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and helpful. We had access to all the facilities and it was in a great location. There wasn't enough sugar and milk in the rooms for a couple cups of tea how ever when asked for more the receptionist was very helpful and quick.

Everything was fine it was lovely the staff were great and polite and they catered for my needs it was lovely even thought I hate football thanks it was lovely.Helen. The bath in our room was like an ice skating rink when you put soap in the shower the anti slip spots were more slippery than the rest of the bath I slipped twice and my partner fell in the bath hitting his head on the side as he when down he has a bump their now it needs sorting out before someone else slips and really hurts themselfs we told reception when we left what had happened.also the stud walls where the head board is are very good who ever built them wants the sack their shit.we were sat leaning on the headboard and next door must have jumped on the bed and banged the headboard and we nextdoor our heads bounced of ours the whole wall moved thats not right a stud wall shouldn't move light that we should know my partners a builder.other than them 2 things it was lovely.

The hotel is very good value,it's clean, staff are friendly, food is good in restaurant but pricey for what it is and area a bit run down.Good as a base for exploring Ironbridge and it's museums close to road links. Price of breakfast over £10 in restaurant, but if you purchase from reception it costs £7.50 for full English. If you don't ask you don't get? Wifi costs £5 for 1 day unsecure network.

What supposed to be an executive room was exactly the same as a double, very very basic, but money refunded when I complained. Waited 1 hour and 10 minutes in restaurant for my food which came back cold, my husbands steak was frazzled instead of medium rare, then fire in the kitchens oven - luckily no fire alarms but this is worrying judging by the amount of smoke in the restaurant. One word - AVOID

Staff were very friendly. The entrance to the hotel car park could be signposted from main road as not that clear in the dark.

The Whitehouse Hotel suited us ideally because we could book room only ( not wanting a breakfast). The rooms were spacious and we booked a room not overlooking the A5 Watling Street which was extremly quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A bus stop directly outside the hotel which I used while my husband went off in the car. The receptionist was very helpful with local bus information. Excellent leisure facilities which we used every day.

Great hotel, staff friendly and welcoming to us and our dog as always. Hotel is comfortable and clean, large rooms and good parking facilities Unfortunatley on this occasion the evening meal was just not up to standard, service was slow, low staffing levels and my husbands meal was tiny and tasteless and swamped with salad and mine was overcooked and hard to eat, this is the first time this has happened so hopefully just a one off

This hotel was remarkable value for money. The jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, pool and gym was open to all guests and my room was large clean and comfortable with a well presented bathroom but most surprising was that the dining room opened onto huge picture windows that ran along one side of Telford Football Stadium! The restaurant and food was well presented and charged at a moderate price but I found the actual food rather mediocre. Not bad.... But not particularly special. Breakfast was great however.

Handy for access to Telford. Good value for money and free car parking. Room was clean and tidy as was bathroom. Shower was powerful and there was no shortage of hot water. I enjoyed my stay there. It's adjacent to a football pitch so it can get noisy on match days but that isn't often and doesn't last long.

Nice staff on reception. Beds hadn't been made up in both family rooms but was sorted by friendly staff quite quickly. Was really disappointed - had stayed before and enjoyed it so much that went back with friend and her children (11 of us altogether) but breakfast service was surly and unfriendly so wouldn't go back again
