The staff were first class and responded to our problems in an efficient and pleasant manner. The food was first class. We were of the opinion that the hotel was having difficulties. During our stay there were difficulties with the water services and the boilers. We felt that more could have been done to inform the residents as to the problems.

My partner and I stayed here for one night and at first I thought it was a strange hotel - the dining room was like a murder mystery setting and when we went to our room it was like we were in a ski cabin with all the wood! Apart from the hotel needing a bit of an update we had an excellant time. The staff couldnt have been more helpful and the food in the restaurant and the breakfast were delicious! We didnt expect much for £50 b&b for the two of us but we really enjoyed our stay and would definately go back again. Some of the chairs and carpets need to be replaced, they are on their last leg!

Evening meal was very good. Fusty smell in hotel bedroom and hallway. No blind in bathroom which is overlooking houses. Had to wait hour and half on evening meal, also had problem at breakfast, had to wait for table to be set up, other tables were not being cleared away, service very poor, breakfast was adaquate, wouldn'nt stay again.

We made our booking via booking.com for a party of three; my husband , myself and our 14 year old son. The form accepted this combination and advised us of the extra charge. On arriving at the hotel., We were surprised to find only a double room allocated to us. The receptionist and manager on duty were helpful in trying to sort something else out , thae details they recieved from booking .com was only for a double sot we ended up with a twin room and a z bed squashed it as that was all that was available. Not the best start. We were only charged for a double room as a jesture of goodwill, but it was not teh hotels fault. We were disappointed with the hotel in essence a popular wedding venue and grill bar so we endured two nights of wedding celebrations and the rest of our stay was very quiet however the breakfast experience was very indifferent with the standard of cooking and level of service ranging from acceptable to indifferent. Not the Northern Irish welcome and level of hospitality I was expecting to share with my family on their first first to the six counties. I know things could have been a lot better. Thank you to the two members of staff whom we met on arrival they really did try but we were disappointed with the level of indifference we encountered from other staff members. Rooms were clean and well serviced if some what tired. All in all a wedding venue with rooms rather than an small country hotel experience.

Staff friendliness and helpfulness was first class, location, range of food & beverage, free parking and value for money - we enjoyed our stay No heating on at night time so we froze all night!! Complained in the morning and was told they turn the heating off at night at this time of year! Its a hotel however and people pay to stay there at night so they should have the choice of having the heating on if they so wish, also the hairdryer didnt work and the drainage from the shower was pretty much non-existant. Having said this I would definately stay again as these issues are things can be simply resolved

Location to both Belfast and the airport, There was a homely atmosphere in the hotel, rooms were excellent. Room was too hot and little control of heating. In the Raffles restr the service was very slow although there were a lot of people present. Breakfast was average, The soda bread from the Ulster fry appeared to be deep fried as was everything else on the plate.

The hotel was extremely comfortable with great facilities. The early bird set meal was exceptionally good value with great portion sizes etc. The room and jacuzzi bath were fabulously extravagant The only little blip was being woken at 5.30am by a wedding party preparing for their day. It did not destroy our enjoyment of our stay, it was just a very early awakening.
