The hotel was very modern in its interior, with high quality in room fittings. The staff were friendly and helpful and restaurant was good value Hotel Car parking was badly managed it appeared to be only partly used but the sign at reception showed it to be full. We stayed 5 nights and had no luck! parking elsewhere locally was expensive |

Extremely well presented and comfortable room, with spacious bathroom. Why are the second towel (in a double room!) kept in the wardrobe and not just in the bathroom? |

Clean, value for money stay during the Sunday. Superior Room is comfortable with a lot of space. Need some work on the location before the trip but it is still near to the centre and major attractions. Maybe because of the location, it can be considered as a quiet environment for a small city hotel. |

The receptionist was very friendly and I got a free upgrade to a superior room. The location was incredible, right in the city centre. Breakfast is not included in the rate as standard -if i'd paid rack rate I would definitely have expected it. There are plenty of great coffee shops within 100m radius though! |

Nice comfortable bed. Very polite and well mannered staff. Bedroom doors rattled as people walked past in hall. Shower "door" wasn't fitted properly and water leaked onto ground every time it was used thus making floor slippery. |

The staff was informative and helpful. The walk to Royal Mile was quick even though the hotel was out of the tourist area. Will stay there again |

The location is central and not too long a walk from Waverley Train Station (although if you have a lot of luggage - you'd be better catching a taxi); staff are friendly and helpful (especially Tracey - we wanted to check in but our room was not available, however she managed to change our room), good breakfast, good pies available at the Piemaker just down the street. Not a big thing but there is no bar fridge in the room, check in only at 3pm. |

The bedrooms/bathrooms were beautifully designed and furnished The reception staff were particularly unhelpful to the point of being obnoxious when challenged and simply asked to try and get a room allocation done before 3pm since I had arrived at the hotel at 9am returning at 11 am and again at 2pm. No effort was made to get a room before 3pm. When I enquired if something could be done I was simply dismissed . |
