Just one word - PHENOMENAL!!!! everything was perfect from view to the facilities to the comfort. You just cant ask for anything more.

The staff wasnt available on the desk in the reception at night, and had to give a phone call to get rhe keys. Thats just minor

Layout of rooms, general ambiance, excellent provision of kitchen equipment even kitchen scissors, carving knives. Despite extreme cold when we went ( before Easter ) rooms and beds comfortably warm.

Was not prepared for water everywhere in the downstairs "wet room" , difficult to dry. Would have loved some coat hooks , even over door hooks

The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen including washing machine and dishwasher. WiFi was a bit slow, but good enough to check emails and browse the internet. The apartment was spotless.

TV in the bedroom was fixed in position. This meant that the angle could not be adjusted and so viewing it was not possible. Also no electric socket in the bathroom for shaver, toothbrush, etc.

Flat had a welcolming light at the door, it was warm in the hall on a cold day outside and the view from the window over the marina with narrow boats, ducks, swans and coots

I'd prefer curtains & blinds rather than just blinds. Not a major thing just darker in the morning :-)

Easy to book Good for canal walks Bedrooms spacious with DVD players Plenty of bathrooms. Farm shop and cafe close by. Nicely located for lower lake district. Good parking. Pub close by, but no good over Christmas as pre-booked.

Over priced and over rated. Noisy, bad road noise from very close M6 and that was with windows open. Poorly equipped kitchen Cramped and uncomfortable living area needing new furniture. No personal touch or service. Smelt No towels for downstairs loo or kitchen. Blinds not light blocking so bedrooms very light from Marina safety lighting.

The location was excellent. The apartment was so warm and well kitted out. Everything you needed was there.

The water wasn't as hot as I would have liked.

Not having to check in, the apartment is wonderfully decorated and furnished. On arrival the heating wasn't working and despite the reception being closed, someone was there under 20 minutes to fix the problem, comfy and relaxing, excellent value for money. Certainly will be staying again.

Lovely setting and beautiful town houses, local to the Lake District, easy access to all local sightseeing. Would recommend to family and friends.

Location - easy access to Lake District and surrounding areas. Apartment - light and airy. Good standard of fixtures and fittings making for an enjoyable stay. Kitchen excellent. Great looking out over the marina as the sun went down. Concerned about the proximity of the M6 beforehand but was not an issue at all.

No real complaints as thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, however i do need to make the following observations for your consideration; Bed seemed very small - ok i'm 6'3" and can accept my feet hang over most beds, but it also seemed very narrow compared with beds ive slept in in the past. Some dark marks on the bedsheets on arrival, always a bit disconcerting but the sheets seemed fresh enough.

Apartments were ideally placed for mw to commute into Heysham power station during a short term contract there. Good relaxed atmosphere to relax in after work.

WIFI is a bit hit and miss
