It was okay for our needs.
Could not change the tv channels, stuck on BBC 1 only.
nothing in particular. it was a place to sleep.
the shower didn't work wel. you couldn't direct it to clean your body. it was like the holder was backwards mounted not allowing the head to point outward to where you stand to shower.
The free Wi Fi
The hotel is very noisy. One can hear people above below and to the sides of the bedroom. My colleagues expressed the same.
Very friendly staff. Free WiFi. Comfortable room, good bed.
Noisy pipes from another room was a bit intrusive.
location is excellent and convenient for the river, town and access to the surrounding area. the staff are professional, caring and helpful. The breakfast choice is good and the meals in the River Bar are good value for money and well cooked and presented.
The hotel is beginning to look a bit shabby. Some of thedecor needs upgrading.
The room was clean and tidy and spacious. Breakfast was excellent
The tv reception wasnt great leading to constant interruption of service.
Welcome and concern that we had an enjoyable stay
Location, food breakfast was excellent.
The hotel could do with redecorating, but this might spoil its charm.
We paid for two nights in an "Executive" room whilst in the area for a friend's wedding. Immediate reaction of the hotel was that it was old, dated and had a very odd smell. Our bathroom door had a hole in and the bed did not look very clean. The balcony was also full of cigarette butts. Upon showering, we realised that the entire ceiling was covered in mould. Absolutely disgusting!! I asked the lady at reception to move us, who did agree, but I did not get very much by way of apology from her. I pointed out that this room should not be given to people at all, at which point she claimed not to know about the mould. I find it very unlikely that no one had noticed this. We were told that we could be moved that afternoon, which was extremely disappointing given we would be out for a wedding all day. Eventually, in fairness, we were moved to another "Executive" room. This time the entire back of the toilet was covered in green mould. At £80 a night this is not a "bargain" hotel, and I would expect much better. We had been told when we complained about the first room that some money might be taken off the bill. In fact, nothing was offered at checkout and I wanted to get out as soon as I could rather than argue. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Basic is fine, but dirty, mouldy and an unhelpful attitude from staff is unacceptable.
nice large bed in a double room.very kind helpful staff.
bathroom walls were a wee bit in need of some extra elbow grease! Nice food in the Trevi and good breakfast.
My partner had an interview the next day and needed a few things printed off. The staff were lovely and printed everything that he needed. Also, breakfast was great!
We booked this hotel in combination with Dinner at `The Fat Duck` which is about 3km from the hotel. The lady at the reception immediately proposed to book a taxi to the restaurant and was very helpful!
The rooms are quite old and there was a cold draft in the room. But apart from that there were no hassles.
Comfortable room with nice I discovered the off switch for the radiator.
Breakfast was cold although plentiful.
the location and the restaurant. Nice room with all the amenities, tea coffee tray, hairdryer etc
In need of some decoration, bit run down as far as décor was concerned.
Hotel was good, staff friendly and accommodating, view spectacular of the Thames, breakfast Was excellent,
Staff were very accommodating and the food is very good. Nice view of the river Thames. Excellent Wi-Fi. Good parking facilities. Very clean.
No lift. Small for a double room. Should really have been advertised as a small double probably better suited to one person. Room very hot. Bed very hard. Bit dated but clean.
Very helpful staff, excellent room, good bed, free WiFi.
Shower took a long time to warm up
Good location, great breakfast, and the Trevi restaurant attached is a real find
A tiny bit tired
Not too expensive for the area
Smoking - maybe it's allowed ? - I don't know, but the smell of smoking is atrocious
the view of the Thames and friendliness of the receptionist were very good breakfast was excellent
room was basic and on 3rd floor with no lift, bed a little uncomfy bathroom and decor dated but fine for one night wifi a little intermittent but usable
The hotel, the ambiance, the peaceful environment, the bar and the bar tender. I would visit that place again.
Nothing as such............
Friendly staff, nice dinner, good breakfast.
Bathroom needed a good clean, bedroom could do with redecoration.
