Straopremen beer on tap and the Fiorentina T-bone steaks in the restaurent. The staff - freiendly and happy to help The smell of mothballs and stale beer throught the hotel. 80s decoration throughout. Uncomfortable bed. A shower that has the hot and cold selectors the wrogn way around. The whole in the wall next to the bed where someone had punched it.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Booked last minute so rate was very good for the quality of hotel. Wifi worked very well and tv was latest flatscreen with freeview. Perfect for a one night stay in the area. Rooms could now do with a lick of paint as becoming a little tired, although room was still very clean.

The staff were so lovely and friendly, we felt very welcome. The bar was nice and cosy and all the family sat and had a drink and relaxed there - we were booked in for a family party so there were a lot of us staying at the hotel. The room was good and the bathroom spacious. The breakfast had a good selection and was very tasty.

It is a very nice hotel and the staff were absolutely wonderful and very friendly they made me feel very welcome each time I came back to the hotel. The food was really nice whether I ate in the restaurant or my room. The bathroom did need a bit more of a clean there were some stains in there I was not quite sure what they were and the drain in the shower blocked quickly and took a long time to drain away. The walls are very thin and you can everything happening in the rooms either side which sometimes you do not need to hear and disturbed your sleep.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good & the Italien downstairs was worth a visit. Nice river view, but the tv didn't work. I'm sure if we had complained something would have been done, but it wasn't worth worrying about.

After seeing the photos online I didnt have much hope for a pleasant stay as the rooms look dated etc.. however I am pleased to say the photos do not do it justice. The rooms were clean, good size and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was very good. For the price per night this is extremely good value for money and would certainly recommend..but please update your photos!!

Much, much better than the photos on this website! We arrived not expecting much but were very pleasantly surprised by the Thames Hotel. On arrival we recieved a free upgrade (just because!) but other friends we were staying with stayed in the standard room and it was still lovely. Great hot breakfast in the morning with a good variety to choose from. Lovely to sit out on the deck and enjoy a cider in the sun! Would definitely recommend.
