The Boleyn Hotel, under new ownership/management is a charming 3 star listed hotel opposite the River Thames dating back to the 16th century.
Score from 187 reviews Good
With free parking, this hotel in Chertsey has wonderful views of the river and out beyond historic Chertsey Bridge.
Score from 615 reviews Good
This private boutique hotel is in the historic village of Stanwell. Just 5 minutes’ drive from Heathrow Airport, it has free Wi-Fi and a restaurant where guests can enjoy tapas.
Score from 334 reviews Fabulous
The Hamilton's is a boutique guest house in the village of Chertsey, just 2 miles from Thorpe Park. It offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and free parking.
Score from 122 reviews Very good
Ideally situated on the river, only two miles from Thorpe park, friendly efficient staff. Hotel was clean and comfortable.
Staff were fantastic, Natalie in particular was very helpful. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was great.
Very expensive drink Dated, needs a refurbishment
Good location-close to train station, clean bathroom, good breakfast, staff nice and friendly.
Room I stayed was very old fashioned, furniture saw already better days, walls require to be painted as impression is that place is neglected.
The first time I stayed here the room was fine, however, on this last occasion the room I was given was poor and basically looked like it was an add on to fill a space in the building.
Great Thames side location. Ideal for shopping and local restaurants etc. as well as Thorpe Park, LEGOLAND, and Windsor. We use this hotel for gigs and theatre in London too as its a short train ride from the city. Very comfy beds with nice rooms. Love having breakfast by the Thames and chilling in the lounge after hours too.
A few too many families if you are after quiet nights.
Early check in by most helpful member of staff
Very close to Heatrow (easily to drive in a english hand) and a few minutes to Staines station (train to London) with a beautiful view of Thames.
nothing to complain
The bed was massive and so comfy, brilliant nights sleep. Room was overlooking the Thames and really clean. Had all we needed for our 2 nights stay. 1.8 miles aprox to thorpe park theme park. Shopping centre right across road including many eating places
Can't recall any negatives.
Location, very convienient for T5 at Heathrow and a nce view of the Thames.
Lack of parking. Very sad decorative state. Cold room, radiator did not work and there were no additional heaters available from reception. Breakfast was £15 each!
Excelent room and superb view Free parking within Hotel location
More than usually pay but probably going rate for a Friday in this area.
Size of the room, very nice breakfast in lovely dining room, dog friendly
Very long walk between room and reception
location next to Thames, convenient parking space, decent food and drink (including breakfast), good wireless internet
no air-conditioning, front rooms get a bit too warm to my taste on a hot day
ROOMS WERE WARM WITH NO A/C.NOT ENOUGH STAFF IN FOOD SERVICE AND FRONT DESK.
Our room was lovely, the food was excellent and the staff are really very friendly.
The prices for food and drink are a bit on the expensive side.
free wifi location for purpose of my trip
parking situation - it says free parking and no reservation is needed.. well, i stayed now twice at this location and twice i had to take the adjacent public parking and had to pay for it! this should be arranged by the hotel and not by the guest, if it says parking is free, then it should be like that! room without aircondition (it was exceptionally hot during my stay, and and aircon would have been a real pleasure; a room-fan was available though)
It would be perfect if the footpath running in front of hotel was private especially at night for security reasons also there was no air conditioning in our room so had to make do with a tiny fan , nights were too hot !
Good position and big double room. Nice bar and tables outside next to the river Thames.
Small car park was full when we got there. Receptionist told us we could park in public car park near by for £1 but this was only for 1 hour and would have been fined. Also not for overnight parking so be warned. Had to park 600m away outside residential house. Not what I read on Booking.com said about parking for this hotel. No air con except for a small fan.
Waitress was excellent. Reception staff were poor.
The manager has excellent customer service skills. We were put into the old part of the hotel when we checked in much to my horror. The new part was full according to reception. The manager found us a room in the new part of the building which isn't too bad. The views and proximity to the river and town. The food we had in the restaurant was good although service was very slow.
The old part of the building is just horrible. Khaki coloured paint in an already dingy room? The designer needs shooting. Dirty, shabby old carpets. I will never return to this hotel if I can't be assured it will be in the more modern side.
free WIFI - booked river-view room was actually booked - nespresso machine in the room -
Car parking situation / Restaurant staff being not able to take orders for a starter and 2 main dishes for dinner without getting 2/3 order wrong! Maybe the waiter should not chat up female guests in the restaurant but concentrate on taking orders, e.g. use a pencil and paper to note down what guests ordered! (If you order a starter for 2, then please do not bring the starter and one main course at the same time! - if you then realise that you are missing the 2nd main course, bring the one that someone ordered and not just the "left over lamb" and hope it will be accepted! - To top if of, the bill at the end had the incorrectly ordered items - including a price difference - still shown. (this was then corrected after having queried the bill).
Bit overpriced, Dreadful beer
The rooms where spacious and the views of the river where excellent. It also transpired that the beds where extremely suited for taking spontaneous naps for a certain person when the football was on.
A peaceful stay with no disturbances.... a good night's sleep. :-D
