Staff were very good we were using the hotel as a stop pint for the Thames Path Walk, and it ideal for this. First room next to busy road junction and phenomenally noisy. We asked to be moved. Only available room was 'upgrade'. It was quieter but we had to pay extra £20 just to have what we called an 'adequate room'. I just get the feeling this happens a lot!

Staff were very friendly. Loved the balcony overlooking the river, weather was good so able to sit out and watch the world go by. badly organised at breakfast. Staff were lovely and very friendly, but no glasses for the orange, when they arrvied they were hot! no table available, was asked to wait in the buffet area whilst they made it up and felt a little in the way whilst other guests were trying to get their breakfast. Crumbs from previous guests on the chairs and the tea was stewed and barely warm.

Convenience, cleanliness and friendly staff. No heating, shower stuck, no where to park if entertaining is in the hotel, having to use public car park, no preferential treatment for residents.

the room was one of the cleanest i have seen in a while, bed very comfortable ,service very good. wall shower did not work had to make do with a bath. there was another hand shower atached to the taps, but as we all know they are usles unless you are washing children or dogs, my wife did complain about it and was asked if we would like to change rooms but as we had allready staid one night in the room and only had one more night to go ther seemed no point in changing. this should not have happend if your cleaning supervisor was doing the job properly, as that shower should have been checked before being cleard for the next guest to ocupie, after all the guest is paying for these services.

Riverside view rooms. Attentive staff. Great location, could walk to everything. Even though it was snowing outside my room was nice and cozy. The furnishings were very nice but the carpet was tatty. Overall a lovely stay though. Though very nice my room was way at the back and far from entrance.

Good Location Clean Whilst the food was tasty and nicely presented, the portions were tiny. My wife eats very little but was still hungary after main course so we ordered vanilla cheese cake for sweet. It was so small we fell about laughing. The cheescake was the size of an old 5 shilling peice and the ice cream a little larger than a melon baller.

Had a room in the new extension so everything was fairly new. A nice cosy hotel in an excellent position. Although the hotel has had a few more rooms added, the car park - which was not big enough before the extension - is still the same size and I think at busier times this will become a problem.

It is well located, close to the Thames and not far from the city center The 2 first nights, I was in a room close to the main street. This room was extremely noisy. I have been moved with any problem in a very nice room. Just avoid the room 65

Good sized rooms Modern Decor Free parking Free upgraded room Good Shower No heating in the room - although I asked for a heater, but it was too noisy to sleep with. No papers in the bar to read. Smokers in the room next door - smell came through into my room, in fairness I did not say anything to the staff as it was late and need my beauty sleep.
