Score from 83 reviews Good
Near to train station and easy parking, convenient for my needs.
Small bath bit of a trek to room but not a major problem
location, and welcome excellent. Pet friendly, made our dog feel welcome too!
Angela, the receptionist upon arrival was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great fitness centre, with the added benefit of a 1k walk to reach it
No lift and narrow staircase makes it difficult if you arrive with heavy luggage (impossible for less than fit personas)
Got a free upgrade...which was nice Massive bed! Nice setting
Couldn't turn the shower down from OWWW that's hot to a nicer temperature
Fantastic view over the river and very comfortable bed.
No lift and several staircases up & down, but the staff were very helpful.
Good Value. The double room was reasonable for a one night stay. The staff were very helpful and polite. The position right on the banks of the Thames was very pleasant. Good for Heathrow terminal 4. Only 15mins
The lounge furniture was very tired. We did not know until we arrived that we could not eat in the restaurant as it had been booked by a large party. The shower needed replacing and dripped continuously.
The location was perfect for the local shopping centre. Free parking and wifi was appreciated. The room was a good size.
The room had no working window so no fresh air. The lighting was quite poor and the room needs an upgrade.
Size & comfort of the bed.
Poor view of the river.
Excellent staff attitude, good location, good breakfast with a warm and clean room.
When I tried to use the shower over the bath it would n't work - could only use the hand held one - not easy to shower that way. Could not be bothered to complain as only there 1 night but surely they can get the showers working!
Key didn't work first time so had to go down to have it reprogrammed. Decor. Tired looking, paint chipped Room Service was good but attention to detail lacking - enough cutlery, no sugar and removal of room service Due to a party, woken up at 0330 in the morning by screaming woman, no answer from reception to ask them to stop. And then as we were late getting up decided to have breakfast room service and being told I should have done order last night.
Parking available. Easy access from M25. Few minutes walk to station. Staff very helpful. Lovely location on the river. Restaurant / breakfast room with view of Thames.
No problems at all.
Ease of access to Twickenham for a reasonable price. Looks to be a lovely location on a sunny day, overlooking the Thames. (Pouring with rain while we were there!)
Crowded out of bar, lounge and basically ground floor on return to hotel at 10 pm when we wanted a drink. A 40th birthday party was being held.
Easy to get to centre of London. Lovely position by the Thames with ample parking
The river view was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. Location was idea as close to local shopping centre.
There was no lift available and with heavy bags and bad knees this wasn't ideal. If I was to be picky ..The carpet was a little thread bare in the room which isn't what I would expect for the price we paid.
Excellent location. Bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean with plenty of space. Large comfy bed. Lovely bug bath towels. Really good value for money. Parking good.
Corridors in need of upgrade which I understand is happening.
Nice location by the river. Near the train station that connects to the the Queen Victoria station in London. Within walking distance to shops, malls and local farmers market.
The room was comfortable and bedding lovely. Breakfast was hot and a good variety. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Rooms are on the small size. Shower difficult to adjust but got there in the end.
Rooms clean but tired and worn. Small rooms- upgraded for free to larger room) Not very welcoming reception Faulty shower- flooded bathroom. Reported it but nothing done about it.
The location beside the Thames, and close to the Staines bus terminal. The restaurant overlooks the Thames. It is easy walking distance to the shopping area of Staines. The rail station is 12 minutes walk away, with a good service to Waterloo.
The hotel is not the most modern and we were allocated a room at the end of several corridors.
Room was beautiful! We had our own suite. We had our room leading off our own wing which was great and noise was to a minimum. Lay out was good and balcony view of the river was brilliant. Bed was comfortable, but to small for 2.
Bed was very small for 2 people! Room was way too hot and the shower was cold. Whether that's because it was peak time of checking out and everyone was using the water, that's no excuse! If you want a hot shower.. Your not getting it here.
Stayed here with my daughters and a friend for one night, purely whilst one of my daughters and her friend went to Thorpe Park Fright Night. The main appeal of this hotel was location, which is only around 3 miles from Thorpe Park. The front of the hotel is on a busy junction on a busy road, but the back overlooks the River Thames and on such a beautiful day as we had, it was lovely. We were upgraded to Privilege rooms (I had booked two Classic Doubles) and although they were nice, having now seen them, I wouldn't necessarily pay extra for them. So...location was good, rooms were clean and comfortable, both backing onto the river, nibbles were good and cheap and most staff were friendly, helpful and polite.
Difficulty of entering car park if approached from Thorpe Park direction. Car parking very restricted and inadequate for the size of hotel. Lots of double parking and blocking going on. Not wanting to pay £15 for breakfast for four of us (knowing that three of us would hardly eat a thing), I opted to just have a coffee before checking out. Nobody at the bar so I popped my head into the restaurant to ask where I might be able to get a coffee and the member of staff on duty at the door was extremely rude, virtually throwing a coffee cup, coffee pot and milk at me. I actually would have liked a latte, but was too scared to ask!! On mentioning this to the very friendly reception staff, I was advised that the hotel was full and all the staff were in the restaurant, hence there was nobody at the bar. This may be the case, but not my problem!!! Bathroom in our room (3) was rather tired whereas the shower room in my daughter's room (88) was much more modern and large. Other than that, all was fine and perfectly adequate for a short stay.
Amazingly helpful staff. I was upgraded to a room with a terrasse giving directly on the river which was really peaceful (for London). Then I left my house and car keys behind and Roberta from Reception had them sent by taxi to the airport. Excellent service.
I arrived late just before 10pm and only sandwiches were available from room service.
room staff food location late checkout
beer selection and prices (although that was to be expected)
Location. Had a very quiet room looking over the river. Comfortable bed. Close to local shopping area, train station and eateries.
Toilet would not flush properly dispute trying to get it fixed. Need a grab handle on wall as you step in and out of bath/shower...minor negative but would not stop me from staying again.
Friendliness of the staff Manager very helpful and moved us to an upgraded room Location Comfy bed
Bathroom not as clean as it should have been Toilet difficult to flush and shower head loose Not enough staff on in the bar to deal with the function that was con
