Good size room. Clean. Hot water. Value for money.
Heating was off when we arrived. Couldn't turn off properly during night. May be the reason it was off in the first place.
Showers didn't work and room very dated and in need of modernisation
Restaraunts food was very good
The staff were so friendly on arrival, our room was nice and spacious. It was clean, and just felt homely.
Our shower was scorching hot, they came to look at it, fixed it, but the next morning had the same issue.
Very cozy and nice! Very good restaurant and bar next door!
Breakfast not included. Noise in one of the rooms, but it was constant so it didn't bother us so much.
Really pleased with the hotel, staff, food and location. Perfect and we didn't want to leave. Thanks to all the staff, they are all very friendly and very happy. Views of the Thames were a massive bonus too and there's a lovely little park just 10 mins away, just a lovely experience.
The comfortable bed, room size, view of the Thames, the friendly welcome and happy atmosphere.
The room was good for the price. Clean and tidy.
The was a door to a bar or restaurant directly below the room that kept slamming very loudly until just before midnight.
Pretty good bed, bathroom a bit basic
Duvet too small for the bed, shower control stuck so had to bear it a bit hot!
The veiw of the Thames in breakfast area
Have to stay the bathroom was clean but smell of urine that in need of addressing
Everything, it was a lovely hotel and I would definitely stay again.
Nothing at all! Everything was perfect!
The staff were all very helpful and polite. The breakfast was excellent. The room was comortable and clean, we had a lovely view of the river thames. The bathroom was like a sauna and the shower was good. Bed comfortable.
The whole hotel could do with a refurb, just looking a bit tired. Strangely the bathroom had a radiator, but the bedroom had an electric heater, which wasn't as efficient as it could have been.
The hotel was easy to find and the staff welcoming. There were noisy roadworks in front of our room and they quickly gave us another room at the other side of the building. Excellent and copious breakfast. Plenty of (free) parking in the hotel grounds.
Staggered to see that the rooms are single glazed! Hotel must have enormous heating bill, especially as our window leaked cold air around the edges. UK must be the only country in Europe to discourage double glazing. Wifi didn't get as far as our room.
Twin bed made to a double very uncomfortable. Inadequate shower. Poorly lit parking
10 min walk from center Free parking Good wi-fi Staff pleasant
Could not get the safe to work - for a week! Single room veeeery small and right next to the aircon - very noisy! Fortunately they upgraded me at no charge.
The location the views and the somewhere the relax .
Not a thing
Comfortable hotel right by the river. Easy access to both Maidenhead and beautiful Cookham. Helpful staff, a great venue for breakfast and a really attractive price.
ROOM OVER LOOKING RIVER
THE FOOD WAS POOR
View of the river from the bedroom
Breakfast pastry were stale
The friendliness of the staff, and the rooms were very clean
The vibrating noise for about 10 minutes while trying to get to sleep, after being at a wedding all day.
Friendliness of the staff Cleanliness of the room The free WiFi
Loose floor tiles in the bathroom Ghastly remote control for the telly (dirty, no battery cover, batteries were barely hold in place) After 1 minute of watching the telly it lost signal and I gave up.
The rooms were nice and warm. The bathroom was really clean. The bed was comfy and clean. The view of the river. The fact we hadn't paid full price!
The fact the door to the balcony was so hard to open. Wasn't impressed by the room in relation to the price (not the price paid, but how much it should have been...if we had paid full price we would have been really disappointed). How long it took to be served in the bar, even though it was a Monday night and pretty quiet.
The staff where friendly Clean hotel Good food Value for money
We have stayed here many times during the past year, mostly in connection with visiting and looking after my elderly mother who passed away in early December. Under the thoughtful and hardworking guidance of the Hotel Manager, Russell Gibbard, all of the many international staff were always there to accommodate us, particularly at the difficult time of our family bereavement, and were most sensitive to the frequent and last minute room requests and other things we asked for. Special mention is due to Georgia on reception and Millie in the restaurant both of whom, in addition to their efficiency and helpfulness at all times, always had a smile and a good and interesting word to say. Many thanks indeed - and that is without mentioning the excellent location of the hotel on the very banks of the Thames with lovely room views of the river.
The room was far too hot and couldn't cool it as windows didn't open enough. Car park was too small...not enough parking space for numbers of residents.
