I chose this place to be near Glasgow airport for a morning flight. It worked well and the staff were most helpful.
I did not realize when booking that it was on such a busy road. Also the security lights on the building shine right into the room all night.
I had the luck to find this little charm of a hotel for a quick trip in Glasgow. I had a wonderful time. Staff was tremendously helpful, the rooms are small but complete and cozy and the hotel as a whole offers more than what the price would suggest. I'd definitely repeat a visit
Friendly did the job and price was right
Squeaky floor boards. noisy doors slamming. Not en suite
Location was great. The staff were very nice. The breakfast conservatory and breakfast itself was perfect.
My room was a little bit like a cell. It was quite long and very narrow. The small television was towards the end of the long room and I had to wear my distance glasses to see it from the bed. Also very dark with a small thin window at the end. Had to have a light on at all times
Good staff, clean. Comfortable bed.
Intrusive road noise
All of the above
Staff were really helpful and friendly. The whole place was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with veggi choice too :-) Highly recommend!
Security light right outside the bathroom so couldn't sleep.Very stuffy room
Staff very helpful and apologetic when we could not get a drink as we arrived back too late from the Comm Games close. Clean and tidy room.
We chose the hotel because it was close to the airport where we were picking up our Niece and Nephew and well situated to head north to the Isle of Skye the next day. We were very pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was for it's price and Paisley was much more interesting than expected.
The only way to the bathroom was to shuffle sideways past the end of the bed as the room was so narrow.
Lovely breakfast included Nice bar/restaurant Helpful staff
No wi-fi access in bedrooms Room very small
Very friendly and good for Glasgow Airport. Good and reasonable food in the evenings. Breakfast needs improving.
Smallish Spartan room. Old furniture. Not particularly clean shower. No clock radio. Noisy fan/motor outside room all night
Stayed for 1 night during the Commonwealth Games. Only a 15 minute drive from Hampden. Room small but serviceable. Breakfast was lovely.
Shower squealed very loudly!
Staff were excellent Breakfast was superb
Friendly helpful staff
\Too small a room for the price
Staff were excellent, could not speak highly enough of them, bar/restaurant area was very nice Excellent value for money
Rooms very basic but for price paid this is what you should expect, but not a negative in any way
The staff were courteous, very helpful. The food was delicious and very well presented. Great relaxed atmosphere.
The hotel we were put up in on the first night was nothing compared to Abbey inn. Wish we could have stayed both nights here. Abbey inn was far superior in quality.
Great friendly staff always willing to help. Especially Chris who took care off all our luggage while our rooms were being prepared to allow us to continue into Glasgow and meet up with other family members without having to drag our luggage with us. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and all cooked fresh, not the usual hotel self serve from a trough.
Some of the rooms a little on the small side.
What a surprise. I booked the Abbey Inn as a last resort, as my usual hotels were fully booked. Exceptional staff who multi tasked effortlessly, I was shown to my room (not the norm in my experience) which was spotless and very comfortable. The rooms are away from any noise from the bar. As a lone female traveler I felt perfectly comfortable taking dinner in the conservatory. Menu was excellent value and up to date with current food trends. Meal and drink offers are available. Breakfast was cooked fresh exactly as requested - check out seamless. Will definitely stay again.
I chose this place, because I had an interview about 5min away, it was the perfect location for me, near the airport and near to the business park I was going to. It's not that close to glasgow central however there is a train that goes directly from Paisley to glasgow central in about 15min. The staff were every friendly, and I was impressed with the vegetarian breakfast they had on offer. They also gave me a room upgrade, which was great.
Travelling as a single female, in an area I had never visited before and arriving late at night, I did feel a little unsafe but only due to the fact that the door did not have a chain lock on the inside, other than that though, I couldn't fault it, I paid £30 for the night and thought this was well worth it.
told beds are to be replaced
bed not comfy
The staff were really nice and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good. We really enjoyed our stay in the Abbey Inn.
double bed in a small room meant walking like a crab against one side wall
no breakfast Saturday am although I was told I would be able to get cereal before 8am the door was locked so went without
Better than expectations. Staff all very accommodating.
