Super modern interior.Spacious warm bedroom and luxurious bathroom. Extremely friendly helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. We were really most pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Stayed an unplanned extra night . The super bathroom with spa Bath and lovely flexible shower was very short of useable shelf space for all our bits & pieces..... had to use the floor. Hard to find anything more to complain about. We,ll certainly stay here next visit.

The hotel was clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, croissants and choice of cooked breakfast. The room was rather small but this is just a comment rather than a criticism as we didn't really mind.

The hotel was fautless in its service. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were almost perfect. we spent several nights there as a base for a touring holiday and enjoyed our stay very much. the breakfast service was excellent. Very good value. Small things - Boddingtons on the bar in Yorkshire! A small comfortable chair in the room would have helped when relaxing. A small more private 'guest sitting room' with comfortable chairs for those on a longer stay would have been appreciated.

Lovely hotel, extremely clean, very nice rooms and powerful shower. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice and delicious fresh fruit. The staff, particularly the guys in the evening, were really friendly and made us and our two miniature schnauzers feel very welcome. How lovely to be able to take our dogs in to such a nice place. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Comfortable bed, bedroom facilities, clean tidy bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, good location, peaceful, value for money. Narrow corridors and stairs, limited car parking (however on-street parking was perfectly adequate and safe)

The staff all made you feel welcome and were very attentive . They were informative and provided excellent customer service. The location was ideal (near the train station and local shops) , The hotel was immaculately clean and the rooms were a good size .

Clean, comfortable, modern, friendly staff and very good breakfast - two pillows as standard! Lovely outlook at the front - not a view but big period house set back opposite and old church. Some nice restaurants within walking distance. We particularly liked La Rue. Beautiful French inspired food at a very reasonable price and great atmosphere - lots of young people there but we 60 year olds felt most comfortable. No lift, corridors and stairs very dark because of dark pink paint and poor lighting. The dark pink didn't go with the rest of the hotel at all - very dated. Changing it would be the only thing I'd change.
