Everyone was very helpful especially with very elderly parents - and a wheelchair! My only concern was not being able to access the disabled parking spot but the staff helped us out so all was well

I had the best view I've never seen (it was foggy and drizzling). The hotel was very comfortable and the staff attentive. As in just about every hotel I've stayed in the tv picture was particularly good.

Ideal location for exploring the historic town of Malvern, and nearby Tewkesbury. Also, an ideal base for those wishing to walk in the beautiful countryside and hills surrounding this spa town. Although staff did their best to attend to this problem, it was almost impossible to run a hot bath in room 210. The temperature never rose above tepid.

The Abbey is a relaxed and informal hotel. The staff were excellent, very attentive. We felt the hotel offered value for money and the bar meals we had in the evening were tasty and imaginative. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom had been recently up-dated. A very enjoyable stay, great location for exploring the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. Barbara and Peter

The Abbey was a perfect location for Walking the Malvern Hills. The Hotel was loveley, the only complaint was the breakfast. For a Hotel like this you would expect more. The choice was excellent but the cooked breakfast was dry, they had it under lights which you had to serve yourself even the toast! The fried egg was rubbery, the bacon and black pudding was overcooked, the tea and coffee was served in thermos flasks by a waitress. We suggest at the standard the hotel is providing that that ask want you want for breakfast and bring it fresh to your table. My husband was really looking forward to his breakfast, ready to walk up the hills, but this was a disapointment. The breakfast, they really need to look at serving!

We had a superior twin room, and it was absolutely lovely. Large room, huge bathroom with great shower! Very comfortable beds and carpets and such. The hotel is a beautiful hotel, with lovely bar area and couches for relaxing downstairs. Location is great, already up the hill so you are at the base of the walks up in the Malvern Hills. Would happily stay in such comfort again.

Although it was an old building, inside was very comfortable, the room was spacious, the food was in abundance and very good, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Being situated in the centre of Malvern the location was ideal to explore the town as well as the surrounding area. The only negative remark is because it is on a hill and the age of the building ( it used to be part of the priory) there are quite a few steps, even the after using the lift there are still steps, however I noticed ramps were available. I could thorougherly recomend this hotel. A lot of steps, not easy access from the carpark with heavy cases.

I have stayed at the Abbey a number of times and it is always my first choice for staying in the area. The rooms are large and comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The Abbey is ideally located for the town centre as it is literally just round the corner, yet remains free of any external noise. On this occasion we stayed on a B and B basis, the breakfast is buffet style with everything you could possibly want from full english to continental !

The room was very comfortable. It had a lovely view from our window. The bathroom facitities were good. Staff were friendly, breakfast was varied, hot and plentiful. It was very close to the Malvern Hills and as we'd come to walk in them it was perfectly placed so we didn't need to do any extra driving. It would have been good to have a toilet brush in the bathroom and when we sat in the lounge we went to use the games compendium and out of four not one was complete. They all had chess, checkers, cards and dominos. We did manage to playback gammon by using the chess pieces. So there wasn't anything we didn't like about the Abbey, these are just observations. We really enjoyed our stay

The room was clean and the bathroom spacious. It was lovely and quiet. Room service was efficient and courteous. I hope they receive 'tray' charge. The view was fantastic. The food wasn't great. A continental breakfast should include cheese and ham. The salad with dinner should have had an optional dressing. Pasta slightly overcooked. A minibar would be nice.

Its central location was good. Most of the staff were good however some of the breakfast staff were rather inantentive. Lovely town. The standard of breakfast was poor, tinned or frozen fruit and constantly having to ask for the cooked food to be topped up. The cooked food was not of a particularly good standard, maybe I just hate buffets! Most of the staff were good however some of the breakfast staff were inatentive. It is a bit of a trek from the car park to the front of the hotel. It would have been helpful post check in if access could be available from the car park to the hotel, obviously via a secure entrance. The chairs in iur room were not as described, they were not comfortable. Water pressure in the showere very variable

Despite reading a couple of bad reviews, I still booked the Abbey, and am glad I did. I booked on line, but later phoned to confirm details and was dealt with in a most curteous and helpful manner. On arrival, two hours early, we were warmly greated, and our room available immediately. The room itself had the promised views, was large, comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The public areas were again beautifully appointed, with lounges and dining room overlooking the Abbey itself, with views over to the Malvern Hills. I did not pre book dinner before arrival, thinking that we would eat in the town, but after looking around and comparing the value of the meals we decided to dine at the Hotel, and again were not dissappointed - the food and service were first class. After dinner we went to the theatre, within easy walking distance, returned for a good nights sleep, and rose to a fullsome and enjoyable full english breakfast, were again the food and service were excellant. My only regret was that we were only able to stay for the one night! I would like to say that there was something we didn't like, but the closest I can get is that it was quite a hike from the (generous) car park to reception, which would have been more difficult had we been carrying heavier baggage.
