I liked the fact the hotel wasn't far from seafront, the owners and staff were helpful and polite.and that you had your own key too go in at the end of the evening instead of set times.
Staff, location, breakfast, comfy beds
Rooms could do with being refreshed
Friendliness of staff and the breakfast was really nice
Cramped beds uncomfortable and the location was undiserable also the tv was smaller than a laptop
Great location for tower and central pier. Comfortable beds nice clean bedding and towels. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Had to park on central car park few streets away. Hotel interior quite dated.
Location very good breakfast
Needs freshening up
Can't fault the location, staff, welcome, breakfast, cleanliness, hospitality. The only thing was the bed was uncomfortable. It was way to hard & thin. That's are only criticism. Everythin else really good
This hotel was great for my husband and myself as we were only one street back from the prom; and central pier so it was easy to get out and about on the flat as my husband has walking difficulties. Neil kindly carried my suitcase up to the room as I was worried on arrival to find there was no lift so a big thank you for that. Breakfast was great and pleanty of it including the full works and our room was large and came with tv and tea and coffee making and the best bedding possible.
no lift but not a deal breaker.
Location. Was good. Clean and friendly.
Rooms are bit dark.need modernisation.

The hotel needs to be updated to more of a modern look.
Friendly staff, breakfast was good
Tiny room, very claustrophobic but fairly clean
friendly, great breakfast and good value for money clean bed and breakfast great location for most of the attractions

Everything was good & the breakfast was great recommend the Aberford for a Stay in Blackpool.
Lovely hotel lovely people! Cant wait to go again. I will be booking the Aberford for every trip Stayed on saturday 28th of june 2014 in room 19. Was lovely and clean and great breakfast!
Very friendly & helpful staff. The breakfast is as nice as the other reviews. I would definitely stay again.
Could do with a freshen up on the lower level, I assume this is due to being an old building. I wanted a night cap drink on the Sat night about 2300 but the bar had closed earlier than the room info stated.
My second visit, clean room, friendly owner and nice breakfast
Location perfect for our needs, nice welcome from Neil & clean .
