Score from 199 reviews Good
The location and the fact that there was a restaurant.
My room was too bright. The lighting outside the hotel lit up my whole room.Even with the light off I could see everything as if it was daytime! Jukebox too loud!
Location and the pub facilities are good
Room was not that great but what do you expect for the money. Bed was very poor. However they do have better rooms than my last stay
That no waiting around straight to your room
Showers was very slow
When I arrived i had to wait 10 minutes to be served in a very busy, loud messy bar, when I went to my room, it was cold, small and very basic! Felt every spring in the mattress, awful hotel.
room 2 needs a new mattress
spacious room ,clean .
lots of stairs and a bit of a rat run to find the room . a bit noisey as a pub/hotel.
Wi fi was easy
Room was very cold, had to use Duvet off second bed, bed was awful (see above), one hanger in the wardrobe , no chair, bathroom minute and door hanging off, ages to get hot water then hard to control,TV pixilated sound and vision on some channels.
Leaving for the local Travelodge!
very good wifi, staff very friendly, breakfast OK
poor isolation of the room : you need to be just near the heater to feel comfortable.
Staff were friendly, food was good, room was clean. But the hotel is a little tired and needs some refurbishment.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had food at the hotel that was very nice, prices were good. We liked the hotel setting and the location not too far from the motorway. It was great that we had an iron in the room.
Having forgotten shampoo and body wash it would have been good if the hotel had provided these. It would also have been nice to have a hairdryer.
nice people and a great breakfast.
The very cold bedroom
all of the room was poor was well cold the room to was the worth room i have ever stay in ok
Hole in window Socket hanging off wall Very noisy till after mind night
Only the location
We stayed in the annex which was poorly lit and in need of a facelift we couldn't use the light in the bathroom because of a faulty light switch. We did get a good breakfast We wouldn't stay again.
Easy to book in. Cheap. Clean. Decent food. Nice bar. Close to M4 and M3
If you was staying at weekends i could imagine it would be a bit noisy in the night but you could always head down and a have a drink in the bar
Unfortunately i do not recommend to stay there. You Can eat and have a drink in the bar But it was not a very pleasant stay
The pillows were good !
The mattress and bed were not very good the whole hotel could do with a refresh !
The staff were very friendly and although limited the hotel menu was good. However the breakfasts should be described as very good, The accommodation can be classified as basic but comfortable.
Good location near to plenty of shops Short journey to work. Staff were very helpful Nice pub too! Clean & warm accomodation with a nice cosy room.
Water was cold for shower but was quickly sorted out with helpful staff
