Staff friendly and helpful
Bed clothing filthy. Room generally not clean particularly shower area. Very dated property
nice bar rooms were fine staff lovely
nothing all good
The hotel is located in a quiet area ,but close to the main high street with lots of eating places there is also petrol station and Tesco near by.
The hotel has had some upgrades and the only thing that is a little bit of a shame is the small portable T.V which is a flat screen but small other than that I would definitely stay again other than that
The owner and his wife were lovely, welcoming and helpful.
We booked a triple room for three of our staff who were working in Leeds and were very impressed. The staff (particularly Alex) were very helpful and the accommodation was cheap. Our men only needed somewhere to sleep, close to the site they were working on, and this was perfect for that purpose. We've already booked another week!
The owner was very polite and helpful..made my stay a memorable one.
Really it was great days that we spend in this hotel where we got a very wonderful service from George and his wife, the hotel has a breakfast very delicious and helpful in dealing service.
The owners were very friendly and welcoming. It was nice to stay in a hotel where you felt like a person and not a number! Probably old-fashioned in todays world, but very good value for money. Lovely breakfast and amazing Christmas decorations!
The owners were very helpful. The dining room was pleasant.
The bedding was in a very poor state, clean sheets but the blankets and bedspreads were very old and tatty. One of the mattresses collapsed. The shower was unbelievably noisy and very difficult to control.
Friendly staff,very helpful,nice clean room
the room and bed are cute and the staff is very friendly.
there is no elevator.
We chose this hotel mainly due to the reasonable price. At first, we thought the location was a bit far from the city centre, but it turned out to be quite near. Took a cab and it cost only 6-7 pounds. Nice hotel, really beautiful rooms. Staffs were extremely nice and helpful. We really like the man and the lady there. Wonderful people. If we come back to Leeds, we will definitely come here again.
We got some small issues with the water system, but that's all.
The price and the owners trying to negotiate an extra person into a single room ( 'twas funny). You can get rooms that sleep 3-4 and that's a good thing.
I had previously phoned and asked if I could get another person into the three bedded room. Permission granted for an extra £20 . Upon arrival they weren't going to do it. But they did . Not the most up market place but it was just a bed for the night
Good help full staff
Bathroom could not operate bath taps
i stayed recently at the adriatic and found the hotel fairly ok. the staff were very friendly and helpful. i arrived before check in time and they got me a room.they also let me check out late which was very handy. it s on a bus route to city centre. the breakfast was great.
the hotel is very dated and has seen better times. the hotel is not within walk ing distance to town. breakfast only till 9.
Very, friendly, helpful staff. Quiet location - not far from centre.
Quiet room and decent basic bed with a friendly staff. Rooms were clean if dated in terms of decor etc., but a 5-minute walk to Roundhay Road with a wide variety of ethnic foods on offer. Public transportation would be excellent also since this is a major route through to bus and train stations.
The hotel is quite old and seriously in need of a refurbishment. Pink tub, toilet and tiles in bathroom! That and old threadbare carpets, loose floorboards etc. Wifi kept cutting out but hotelier stated they had recently installed it throughout hotel and had experienced a lot of problems. When it worked the coverage was excellent within the room however.
Stains on blanket spider webs around wall light and bathroom window the ceiling above shower has dropped down a little i think it's fair to say I will never book again
Location, close to shops & transportation, room size.
A little out from central Leeds, but a short bus ride away.
A nice place run by a lovely couple. Don't expect anything too flash or ultra-modern, but a very pleasant, homely, family run little place. Would stay again.
Considering the price it would be churlish to make any complaints.
Pleasant surroundings lovely staff.
The couple who owned the hotel were so lovely and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and chatting with them was a pleasure. The room and facilities were fine for an overnight stay. There were fairtrade tea and sugar provided which was a good touch.
Room and decor could be updated but it is not a big deal.
We left during the night as we couldn't both physically fit in the bed at the same time and it wasn't long enough for our legs to not hang over the end of the bed.
Local to my meeting. Low cost for very short stay. Clean and lovely owners.
Decor and oily breakfast
