The staff were very polite and very helpfull it's well situated and we love tenby but have limited funds so this hotel suits us
It is dated but for the price we paid it was good value for money could do with sorting out a few issues with some of the rooms but hey ho as I said for the price it was good
Staff were very friendly and welcoming, hotel has good facilities and only a short walk from the centre
Rooms although clean are very dated and tired, needs refurbing
Nice owners,and a good breakfast.
A disturbance by the hotel entrance in the early hours, spoiled a good nights sleep. No explanation or apology was offered next morning.
Staff were amazing. Got up at 4am to cook us breakfast pre ironman, and then stood outside all day cheering us all on.
The rooms are simple but have everything you need
Very lovely staff on hand for anything and made my ironman weekend a one to remember
every thing about the hotel and staff
The staff and food
staff very warm food very good
Friendly staff and close to the town.Very clean and good quality well cooked breakfast. Very good value for money.
The room was very clean but poorly finished, newly decorated by a real bodger . The plumbing was not good [ water coming up plughole in bath when using the sink and you could have a bath at the same time as having a shower! ] , but then this is a very old building with adapted plumbing . The other rooms looked much better - guess we pulled the short straw!
friendly and helpful staff clean plus a really good breakfast
the staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble the bed linen was clean and breakfast was excellent. Richard and his wife were really nice people really helpful and nice to talk to. I wish them all the best for the future.
the rooms are very poor and need urgent updating, paper peeling off walls, the ceiling paper was bulging were there had been damp, the wardrobe was falling apart. I know it would cost quite a lot to do but it would really enrich the look of the hotel.
Very welcoming and friendly owners, nice bar and good location.
Tiny rooms, water stains in the ceiling, old bathroom facilities with brown marks in the bathtub. The wardrobe is a curtain in the wall. Poor value for money
The price of the room. Had a tv in the room.
The bathroom as it had a weird smell. Also the room itself was run down, the shelf wasn't fitted to the wall probably so it wasn't level. The room in general was run down. There was hairs in the bed and the door wasn't very sturdy! We sleept with the chair and stuff against the door! The welcome when we arrived wasn't good either.
The friendly staff, great breakfast, comfy bed and all round enjoyable stay!
Very thin walls so noise travels a bit which can be a pain early morning or late at night.
Walls were paper thin could here people using the toilets in other rooms, was noisy not good if you have young children, breakfast was extra, mold on the curtains and nets bath was stained
The girl at the reception was friendly.
The whole floor was squeeking, I could hear exactly when people in the room above us were moving around. The bed was very hard, i felt the springs in my back. No carpark. Restaurant is closed in the weekend. Very cramped feeling inside the hotel. Very small room.
Breakfast Size of family rooms Games room Staff Extra pillows Cleanliness of rooms
Lack of additional cover for bed at night
Location - less than 15 mins walk to Train station 5 mins to Beach and town centre. Cleanliness - very clean and tidy Large bed Good shower Free wifi Friendly staff
We decided not to have breakfast mainly due to the fact that it was a buffet type breakfast with a set price of £7.50 pp. not having the biggest appetites we thought that would have been too expensive considering what we would have eaten (as it turned out we found a lovely little seaside cafe where we had the small breakfast we wanted, sat beside the beach with a beautiful view all for less than £6)
The location of the hotel was ideal if you only wanted to attend Tenby's attractions.
i did not like the parking as you had to be up before nine every morning to pay for the daily.
Staff were great really friendly and breakfast was lovely
Staff couldn't do enough for us during our stay. Very welcoming :-)
As on main road can hear traffic
Staff very friendly and welcoming..food excellent..beds clean and comfortable..great location for town
Bedrooms and very dated and need an upgrade
location good room clean and tidy breakfast really nice
lack of parking
Hotel room, bit run down.
Really attentive but relaxed staff, great to have vegetarian sausages available and the staff remembered these sorts of special requirements and brought them automatically after the first day breakfast is really good - because everything there is stuff you want to eat (ie nothing overly 'continental') and everything is well cooked, even down to the toast. It's a buffet but hot items are served to you by a chef, so they're cooked and replenished frequently which is probably why it's so nice. coffee is really good too. Room was well furnished with plenty of storage, but no unnecessary furniture to take up space. spare pillows in wardrobe lively hotel, varied entertainment was on when we went in August, but equally
some paint flaking from walls some windows don't open so can be difficult to get a breeze during unexpectedly warm days
