The location and staff and hotel generally.
Breakfast time and check out time too early 12 would be far mor suitable.
Nice breakfast and great location. Staff very friendly and helpful. This is a good option for young couples who don't mind a few minor discomforts to save a bit of money. Less than a minute to the beach, and a couple of minutes to the high street. Parking is a few mins walk away but is free in winter or £2/day in peak season.
Was put in a room with a bath but the shower was on such a short pipe that had to sit in the bath to wash hair. Everything was clean but there was longstanding mildew round the bathroom fittings, and a taped up hole in the wall. The mattress on the bed was obviously old and saggy. The radiator was broken and an electric temporary heater was supplied (which worked fine)
Nice welcome from staff, good breakfast.
Damp stains in the bathroom , and on the seiling.
The staff were lovely, and was close to the town, the room was basic but was ideal for what we needed it for
We had a good night sleep till I got woke up at 1,30am by some one staying up above us they fell out of bed and thought they were coming through the ceiling not just the once it happened a second time, the noise went on till 3am if this never happened I would have had a good night sleep
location in relation to tenby itself, friendliness of staff
leaking ceiling above the bath
I really liked the staff who always smile to you and are very helpful. Even spent a while talking to the owner about travelling and life in Great Britain. Also told me where to spend last day.
Internet only on the ground floor, which is a problem while you don't have signal in most of the places in that area and you want to know where you are on a map etc. When I wanted to make a research I had to do everything sitting in front of reception.
Loved the welcome we got during arrival, during the whole stay and when we were leaving! Loved the breakfast, set us up for the day!
overall it was lovelly
Extremely friendly staff, made us feel very welcome which led to a warm and personal feel around the hotel. The breakfast in the morning was very enjoyable.
The location was excellent and the staff were friendly
Could do with some modernising,
The owners and staff very nice and helpful, breakfast really nice, rooms are nice and clean.
Friendly staff, great location with free parking close by up to end of March.
Very comfy bed and polite staff
In my opinion not worth the £60 a night that was paid, breakfast was nice but small, all fire alarms were painted over, but scary
Staff r very friendly and helpful.. stayed here a few times, Exellent value for money.
No car park.
The location was good close to the seafront and cheap parking close by.
The bathroom floor slanted which made us feel a bit sick. There was a step into the bathroom but no warning sign, I fell into the bathroom on first use. No extractor fan which made the bedroom a bit smelly. The shower ran off the taps and was extremely temperamental temperature wise. The toilet wouldnt flush properly. We booked a double room but got two single beds pushed together with a big ridge in the middle. The bedroom window was half boarded up making the room quite dark and oppressive. There was noise from the kitchen i.e a radio playing loudly from 8.30 in the morning and loud music from the bar/kitchen from late afternoon. There was no dressing table and the tea provided tasted absolutely foul.
it was a really nice hotel and really friendly staff and in a nice location
Our stay at the Albany was lovely, friendly staff and our room was more like an apartment! Really enjoyed our stay.
Enjoyed all aspects of the short stay will definitely come back again..in the summer this time though!
Service from staff was excellent, very welcoming and helpful. The location was ideal for our trip.
Owners were very pleasant
Room very poorly maintained, bath room poorly maintained ,blocked bath, Man serving breakfast on Sunday morning does not have any manners or a smile.
Friendly staff, nice big bed.
No car parking.
I had a back problem had to climb 2 flights on stairs
The location was great, staff were lovely. Breakfast was lovely, we were a bit disappointed with the rooms, needs updating/decorating but we were only in them to sleep and get changed so suited us, good value for money.
host was very affable - dining and lounge areas are great - breakfast was good, Good location near north beach/town centre. Prices enabled the whole extended family to come and we had a great time
rooms are pretty crummy, but clean and adequate - fine if you aren't going to spend much waking time there - which we didn't
The location was very good
