The stylish Ashburn Hotel has boutique bedrooms with free Wi-Fi and turndown gifts. The hotel is on the famous Cromwell Road, just over a quarter mile from the Natural History Museum.

Very friendly atmosphere, very convenient for railway station, well appointed bedrooms and good breakfast.
Everything! Breakfast was delicious. The rooms are gigantic by London standards. Beds were like sleeping on clouds. There are huge tubs in the bathroom if you prefer a good soak, but the showers are wonderful too--two shower heads, high pressure, etc. The WiFi was lightning fast. Nescafé machine in the room for quick tasty coffee.
The WiFi is free, but in my room the availability was very shaky.
Maybe the best stay in London in three years.

Great location, friendly staff and amazing breakfast
Loved every bit of our stay, thought it might be a bit noisy seeing the large pub on our arrival and given it was very lively but we never heard a thing , even both slept in which is unusual for us! Food excellent for breakfast although we didn't eat of an evening here the food looked lovely . Clean rooms very modern and comfy . lovely lovely staff ALL very very polite and helpful nothing too much trouble . It literally is across the road from Wandsworth station.
One of the best small hotels in London. Perfect location. Excellent and frendly stuff.
Just everything, the food, staff helpfulness, bfriendly, the decor, just everything! Wonderful!
Just 2 things we did not like so much: -the hotel required us to pre-authorise our credit card for the value of the room plus 50 pounds, that they will refund later if not used. We thought this was unnecessary and not so customer-friendly -the pillows were too high and they did not have spare ones. This could be corrected to match the overall quality of the hotel.
An amazing hotel, considering the value for money and the standards in London. -Quite close to Central London - about 20 min by train+tube -Just in front of Wandsworth town train Station -Quiet, romantic, big modern room with all that is needed, very nice big bed. -Amazing breakfast!!
Quirky entrance and lovely rooms. Attached to a busy bar and restaurant with a great atmosphere. Breakfast very tasty. Would definitely stay again.
With the whole family in tow we booked the function room for a birthday celebration. As always, the staff were most accommodating and a great time was had by all. Many thanks to all at the Alma particularly Dave on reception.
Love the bar and restaurant. Breakfasts all good. Staff all very helpful and lovely manner about them. Location brilliant. It was our friends first visit and they were very impressed too.
The hotel is a little outside of London but there was an underground station just in front of the hotel and it took only 25 min in the center. We enjoyed the quietness after an exiting and long day in the center as well as the fantastic restaurants with fair prices around the hotel and the area- absolutely great to have an alternative to the tourist traps in the center
It's warm friendly and luxurious.
The atmosphere is lovely making it very relaxing.
Slight anxiety re reservation!
Excellent staff & food
Personal preference perhaps, bed a little hard
Very very pleased with this hotel including - breakfast, style and cleanliness of room, very peaceful, lovely local area with bars and restaurants, closeness to train station, friendliness of staff
I hate to mention anything at all as a negative because this is such a wonderful old but nicely renovated hotel with interesting history. We didn't find an elevator so if you have difficulty with stairs it may be a problem. Of course they offered help with luggage.
The dining room and pub downstairs are perfect after a long day of sightseeing or travel. The food is wonderful and my husband and I had one of the best meals of our trip there. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend it and stay again.
The fact that the hotel was right in front of the station. Being above an authentic English pub.
Finding parking during the week would be difficult/expensive but not a problem at weekends.
Warm, helpful welcome. Very nice, spacious room and bathroom, well equipped. Excellent choice and quality breakfast. Very handy for Wandsworth Town railway station.
The Alma hotel was so handy for the rail. Just opposite the station in fact where one could then link up to the rest of London.
Noise from extractor in room 10. Minor niggle.
Our 2nd visit to The Alma and again, fantastic! Ate in the restaurant too and the food was wonderful. Will be back again .
only one thing spoit the hotel for me.In the bathroom room 8 the cladding around the wash basin was coming off the wall Such a shame because everything else was perfect.
Very comfortable room. Great breakfast
