Arbor Hyde Park is a beautifully restored 19th-century townhouse overlooking Hyde Park. It is a 5-minute walk from Lancaster Gate Tube Station and just 2 Tube (subway) stops from Oxford Circus' shops....

The dining room and pub downstairs are perfect after a long day of sightseeing or travel. The food is wonderful and my husband and I had one of the best meals of our trip there. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend it and stay again.
I hate to mention anything at all as a negative because this is such a wonderful old but nicely renovated hotel with interesting history. We didn't find an elevator so if you have difficulty with stairs it may be a problem. Of course they offered help with luggage.
The fact that the hotel was right in front of the station. Being above an authentic English pub.
Warm, helpful welcome. Very nice, spacious room and bathroom, well equipped. Excellent choice and quality breakfast. Very handy for Wandsworth Town railway station.
Finding parking during the week would be difficult/expensive but not a problem at weekends.
The Alma hotel was so handy for the rail. Just opposite the station in fact where one could then link up to the rest of London.
Our 2nd visit to The Alma and again, fantastic! Ate in the restaurant too and the food was wonderful. Will be back again .
Noise from extractor in room 10. Minor niggle.
Very comfortable room. Great breakfast
only one thing spoit the hotel for me.In the bathroom room 8 the cladding around the wash basin was coming off the wall Such a shame because everything else was perfect.
Although the pub is 1880s the new boutique rooms are not. The staff are helpful and the bar is lively with atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Bed Breakfast bathroom coffee maker - Nespresso

I loved everything about The Alma, from the moment we arrived and were greeted at the hotel reception, to the warm and friendly atmosphere and the excellent service from the manager and his staff in the restaurant to the superb room! I would thoroughly recommend The Alma and can't wait to stay there again!
Room Bathroom Location Breakfast
unfortunate to be staying on a weekend that the pub was showing rugby but that isn't really the fault of the Alma just meant we couldn't really go in the bar on the Saturday night.
All of it
Quietness Modern/new facilities Free wifi
Great location..great staff..lovely comfortable room..highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in London.
The proximity of the station for trains from central London. Friendly staff, brilliant atmosphere in the bar in the evening followed by an excellent meal in the restaurant, booking advisable. Breakfast fresh and plentiful and cooked to order.
Could do with a lift for the upper floors.
Lovely location and top-notch staff. A beautiful place and excellent food round out a very pleasurable stay. I plan to make The Alma my new home when I'm in the city.
Easy to access the train station, pub and restaurant are fantastic, room is great!
Nothing to dislike actually
The room was excellent, high quality and very comfortable
When you first step out from the train station you gain the wrong impression as after a long journey you think you are staying at a noisy pub.
Great location and a perfect informal place to stay for business travellers
It's a somewhat out of the way location, but a charming modernization of a classic English pub. The rooms are very clean and modern, the staff is excellent in providing help and support. The breakfasts are great and the train/tube station is right across the street. By bus it's about a 20 minute ride from the Alma to Victoria station in the heart of London. A great experience.
Not a thing.
Nice and clean hotel. Rooms have an adequate size. No noise from street or pub below. Breakfast is good. Friendly staff
About 25 minutes walk from nearest Underground Station bur good connection by bus to Victoria Station. Hotel is far away from everything. Given the remote location its rather pricy.
- brilliant food and restaurant - Nice pub attached to the hotel - good size room - great wifi - helpful and friendly hotel staff
- location wasn't ideal for me as I was travelling into Central London each morning. This took some time, around 40 minutes.
I couldn't turn the heating off so didn't get any sleep and the windows could only open about 3 inches because scaffolding was in the way.
This hotel was a real treat and expect to stay there every time we go to London. The interior design was upscale, the bathroom was huge with a bath tub and a shower stall. All of the staff were polite and friendly. We really liked the accompanying pub. It is located in residential area, and there is little grocery store and a dry cleaner on the street.
It was a bit far from the town but a train station immediately across the street and the bus stop was only a couple of doors down.
Location, quality and facilties The room was silent and incredibly well sound insulated I was amazed there was zero noise from the train track or attached bar
Had an issue with the WiFI but it wasnt a major hassle and quite possibly my fault.
