Good size bedroom. Good bathroom with a shower stall and a big bath tub. Quiet place. Nice surrounding. Many selection for the breakfast. Staff are very nice.

Decor is very tasteful and modern. The bed was comfy and the shower fab Hotel is directly across from the train station so travelling into London is easy.

Friendly, helpful staff, immaculate, spacious and comfortable bedroom, lovely atmosphere, good food in the gastropub restaurant. I really like the Alma and will be back!

Nothing about the hotel itself, but transportwise it is not ideally located for trips into central London.

The evident care taken over the restoration of an older building; the quality of the furnishings, bathroom, excellent cuisine, friendly and helpful staff. This is a well managed and high quality hotel which provides a good service. It is close to the station (just over the road), and there are several local facilities including coffee shop, hair dresser, general stores etc. John Treherne MBE

Very comfortable rooms, great bathrooms, and the restaurant in the pub is excellent (if a little pricey). Staff are very friendly and efficient. A little out of central London but an easy commute.

The twin bed is a single, rather than a 3/4, and so a bit small, but still comfortable.

The Alma is a very nice, small boutique hotel. Our twin bedroom was really excellent and the bathroom was huge.. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate, biscuits and a convenient fridge/minibar. Nice breakfast served in a lovely breakfast room. Great connection to Waterloo by local train just across the street from The Alma.

This is not a complaint , merely an observation.. The restaurant is really busy at dinner time and the Alma Pub, an authentic British pub, is extremely busy and crowded with locals from early afternoon until closing time at 11 pm. Great if you do not mind the business of it.

The room was excellent with a very good breakfast each morning - my daughter who lives locally was able to join me for this - so gave use a relaxed atmosphere to plan our day around London together. The restaurant and pub were lively at the weekend - both with a good menu if you didn't want to venture out. Locale is very good so close to a train station but also some good shops, cafes and restaurants all within a stone's throw.

More sound-proofing between rooms - especially for those late nighters in their rooms and their slamming outer doors when they returned in the early hours or when leaving early in morning. Is their a slow release mechanism/device for the room doors to prevent this?

Good location as we were visiting family in Wandsworth. Enjoyable evening meal. Excellent staff and very friendly. Very comfortable room, well set out with all those little extras (toiletries, drink making facilities, etc). Very enjoyable stay

Restaurant was a bit too noisey for our liking, but this is a vibrant pub and it was good to see people out enjoying themselves.

The rooms and bathrooms were large, clean and I would rate this hotel at the level of the best hots ever stated. The food was faboulous, the breakfasts the best ever. It had the friendliest staff I have ever met. Ann on reception a treasure as were all the reception and Restruant staff. Good value and will stay there again. Mary brown

The style, design, cleanliness ness and sheets were changed daily as we're towels. Hard to believe it was open 2 years. The staff and manager great. The pub is also very friendly and a real buzz. Took bus into London 3o mins.

Good location, comfortable, modern, quiet room. Excellent staff, especially in restaurant where food was good and well-priced. Our third stay here and unlikely to be our last.

Lovely room, plenty of tea and coffee, nice toiletries. Fantastic restaurant with great food, friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast to die for.

If you stay in a ground floor room on a rainy night the constant very loud dripping of the rain on the window cill will keep you awake!!

Clean and very comfortable hotel. The room and bathroom were spacious and the breakfast was with many alternatives. The railroad station is just accross the street, but it doesn't disturb at all. In the pub downstairs has quite a wide range of beers and the atmosphere there is unique.

Excellent friendly staff, wonderful breakfast. Convenient for getting in and out of London: Clapham Junction is close and gives superb and quick connections.

Car parking not ideal: better to travel by public services.

Stayed here previously. Still excellent. Nice large room, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, good restaurant and friendly staff. Lively bar but quiet room.

Location is a little out of the way depending where you want to go in London but was OK for our visit. No off-street car parking (but no car on this visit).
