Kirsty Alex and gang were lovely people. Nothing was too much trouble they went out of their way to please
Family of 5 in party. Good family room.
The cleanliness. Bathroom dirty. Toilet not been flushed even. Congealed blood on bathroom floor. Made us doubt the cleanliness of the sheets.
made to feel welcome rooms were really warm
Overpriced for basic accomodation
Everything! No breakfast Expensive Dirty filthy No parking No towels Dirty sink / beakers/ shower/decoration Builders work in progress Unsafe electricity I.e plug near water supply Cracked Sink Dirty duvets Photos are a viable if required A refund of our fee would be at the least some compensation for the worst night of our lives.
no breakfast and having to pay for a towel
Stained carpet and curtain, out of date coffee sachets, wallpaper peeling off and general poor decor, wardrobe smelt, shower doors were hard to close and water temperature fluctuated, bed base was damaged and only a hand towel provided.
The location couldn't have been better ...centrally located to everthing
We liked the location.the family room was spacious warm and clean. The staff were very friendly and overall we enjoyed our stay
Bad smell. The reality of the rooms do not look like the pictures. terribly awkward access to the hotel and rooms. especially if you go with bags!!! The "hotel" does not have a place to leave our bags for the day after the checkout. many excuses. .. For everything. .. you must pay for soap and towels per day. impossible to use the wifi, tooo slow. Disappointing.!!!
The owners were very friendly and hotel was in great location
Very basic room with facilities. Don't feel price reflected hotel
Lovely friendly hotel,Alex was a great host, and very helpful, will definitely be booking to go there again great location and great value for money.
The owner was kind enough to honour our late arrival due to beig Stuck in traffic however when we did come to be shown to our room when we arrived we had a sea view which looked and sounded fine during the late hours of the evening however when morning came the window was absolutely filthy and you could barely see through we had to reach out to clean it ourselves... Very disappointing... :(
Unfortunately the ensure bathroom was absolutely vile with pubic hairs in the shower area and the cistern of the toilet literally hanging off the wall and I had to disinfect it all completely with bleach before we could even contemplate using it... For the price paid it was very disappointing to be staying in such "run down" accommodation that doesn't even supply breakfast!! Would not consider staying here again.
This was a last minute decision to visit Blackpool we needed accommodation for 10 people, this hotel was the only one at short notice that we could all get into and now we know why! Nothing was even okay!, It was as bad as you could imagine and then times it by 100 it was a budget hotel but that was too complimentary as it was terrible.
Everything, the coffee sachets were out of date by 4 months the sugar was damp, the room smelt, there were holes and disrepair everywhere, booking.com you seriously need to look at this hotel and see if you ought to be recommending it. Having read all the reviews we knew we were in for a rough ride but the reviews simply didn't cover half of the problems with this place. No curtains on the windows but that didn't matter because you couldn't see out of them as they were filthy. There are budget and there are clean there is a difference. This place is rank. No extractor fan for the shower, which was in a cupboard, all pipework exposed, but even so on a budget I wouldn't mind that too much if it had of been clean. Arghhhhh it was horrible we left 7am the next morning. For what they charge its down right scandalous. So the moral of the story is if you read a review before you visit that even half puts you off going somewhere then dont go!
It was somewhere to sleep for the night and owner was friendly
Parking was difficult, modernisation required and wifi connection was poor
towels not included in price
need refurbishiong,no toileteries or towel provide for shower
No breakfast served even thou was a b & b cafe next door was disgusting had family room but 12 noisy men above so only few hours sleep per night
Staff friendly, great view overlooking the beach
Mould in kettle, no signal on TV on upper floor or wifi connection
Liked the location. Staff very friendly. Price good... We only stayed the one night.
Room needed to be up graded. Also the shower was not cleaned. There was hair still in the bottom of the shower. Mattresses need to be replaced not very comfortable.
Facilities were inconvenient. Any extras were chargable and i mean ANY
