The location is superb, just steps to the bus, train/tube line. The staff made us feel like family. Arriving early, they welcomed us into one of our two rooms and served us tea in a comfortable living area while we waited for them to scurry to get our room ready for us. They gave us information about getting in and out of London, things to do, and went above and beyond in every sense of the word. For anyone going to London, it's out of the chaos of the city on easy links, and you feel as though you've gone home at night, as the hotel is located in a real neighborhood. We celebrated a 25th wedding anniversary, and getting wind of it, placed a silver candelabra on our breakfast table! And the breakfasts...fabulous! Elegance, coziness, kindness!

5 minutes to Fultham station. From here the train to Waterloo station takes 35 min. The hotel is 15 min by taxi to Heathrow. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. Tea and Coffee was made on arrival and on return from trips to London. Breakfast was very good. Room was very good.

Extremely clean. Check in and out of the hotel was very quick. Transportation is very convenient. 5-min walk to the train; less than 5-min. to the bus stop. Neighborhood was relatively quiet. On a map, the hotel appears to be almost adjacent to Heathrow. It is not very close. The bus service snakes its way in and takes a good 45 mins. to reach the airport. The train routes you all the way back into central London, where you have to xfer onto the tube to get back out. In other words, leave at least a full 3 hours if you aren't taking a cab to get to Heathrow.

Clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, crisp linen, cozy room, considerate staff. I was upgraded to a larger room since it was available during my stay. There was not anything to complain or not to like. There was plenty of lamps in the room however work desk could also use a lamp.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Katrina, who is just about the nicest woman I've ever met. She was genuinely interested in our travels, had a good sense of humor, offered us tea, and recommended a great place for dinner and drinks around the corner. The rooms were superb- it was like staying at home but much nicer. Very clean, with tea and coffee available in the room. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. In the morning, the owner cooked us a full English breakfast that was absolutely delicious. I stayed at the Ambassador Heathrow because I needed an affordable b&b close to the airport, and after travelling around Europe for 3 weeks it was the perfect place to relax.

Right next to the bus stop which puts you in Heathrow in 25 minutes. I'm sure the hotel is quite nice, but my room was pretty small and had no desk to sit down and work on. The hotel serves no meals (except for breakfast) and there isn't much choice of nearby restaurants.

In the centre of Feltham very close to the railway station. I was charged 4% for using a credit card to pay my bill. The hotel is advertised as Heathrow it cost 30 pounds to get a taxi from Heathrow tube station. If I had known the hotel was so close to Feltham station I could have avoided the taxi fare. Breakfast was very expensive 12 pounds per person. The stair carpet was very "grubby"

Liked the free WIFi, comfortable bed etc and the fact they phoned to confirm the booking and check my time of arrival. Was only there from 11pm to 5.30am so difficult to comment much. Did not like the fact that no solution to breakfast at 6am was available, and that the bus to Heathrow took much longer than I expected, say 25 mins. Would have been nice to be given exact instructions on which bus stop to use as I inadvertently waited on the wrong side of the road initially.

Resonable rate with full english breakfast included and good location in Feltham. The Ambassador Heathrow Hotel is an 18th Century three story house converted to a hotel so has features of both a bed and breakfast and hotel. The owner and staff were freindly, personable and accomodating. It is a block from the railroad station with freqent service to central London (Waterloo Station) through Richmond Station where you can change to the london tube for different routes to or through central London. Shops, pubs and restaurants are a couple blocks away. Rooms are named not numbered and each are unique in size and facilities. My wife and I had a double bed with a three piece bathroom in "Fox's Overlook"? (2nd Floor at back). Both the bedroom and bathroom were small but well furnished and very clean. The hotel has a bright glass-enclosed solarium to partake the full English breakfast but a smaller version or continental breakfast including fresh fruit, cereal and toast is available. Orange and grapefruit juice and tea or coffee are available. Such a hearty breakfast, although a little greasy, is seldom available in bed and breakfasts or included in Hotel rates. Another plus is that it has a couple of separate outdoor sitting areas where we played cards and visited with relatives that live in Hanslow/Feltham. (in addition to a common indoor one that is shared as the hotel reception (office). If sole purpose is to sightsee in central london I would look for accomodation there and save travel time.

We can find no fault with the Ambassasdor Heathrow Hotel. It is very deceptive from outside - looks like an ordinary Victorian house, but inside is a revelation! The rooms are extremely comfortable with great attention to detail. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The conservatory dining area is bright and cheerful, but the hidden gem of the hotel is it's incredible garden seating area - a wonderful oasis of calm where you feel you could be in the depth of the countryside. Not only would we 100% recommend this hotel, but we cannot wait to find an excuse go there again. Nothing - our experience was entirely positive.

This was just a lucky find on the Internet, but it is one of the top 5 places I haver had the privilege to stay. Friendly, good service. The owner gave us good advice on getting around London, personally served us an evening drink. The rooms are nicely designed, clean and almost better than home. I strongly recommend The Ambassador Heathrow Hotel.
