The electronics were amazing Underfloor heating Location Staff
Rooms were small
I had organised a short trip to London for my sister's birthday. Our stay was fabulous. The staff, facilities, surroundings were wonderful. We enjoyed relaxing in the restaurant and drawing rooms before heading out to the museums. The location was fantastic and so close to where we were heading. We will definitely be back.
Our evening meal in Apero was not what we had expected. Neither of us are fans of sharing platters and so we were a little disappointed that we weren't able to choose a traditional main course. My sister is vegetarian and so her choice was limited. Our breakfast the following morning was wonderful however.
Great amenities! Have everything you need for business or leisure. A business center, nice restaurants for dinning and meeting. Meeting rooms and a ping pong table. Small gym and close to the park for a run. Great and helpful staff.
Beautiful & comfortable, very good location, one minute from subway, friendly staff.
breakfast too expensive
Beautiful hotel with fantastic attention to detail. Our stay was made pleasurable by the exceptional staff and welcoming environment. Topped off by the spectacular pastries in the Drawing Room.
Helpful and friendly staff, good location, stylish interior, fast WiFi. One feels at home in this quiet part of London.
The bed was very nice and big, but the room should be bigger to accommodate such a bed comfortably. Also, it would be nice to have different types of meat at breakfast, not only pork.
The staff was helpful and friendly with great attention to detail, our room was good with the most comfortable bed we have ever had in a hotel. We really enjoyed the afternoon tea . This wax a treat for my Husband's 50th and didn't disappoint
Prices of drinks in bar
super comfortable bed,and nice staffs. nice location and easy travel to any where in London. the room is a bit small, but it is London, it is acceptable.

comfort, location, staff
breakfast is not included in room rate
So close to museums, walk to central London was filled with nicely distracting things. Everything was quaint and thoughtful. Very accessible to wheelchairs. Nice selections of cafes around the corner for breakfast.
It didn't bother us (we found it added character), but you can feel/hear the underground when staying on the ground floor.
Friendliness of the staff Excellent facilities in room Original decor Tasty breakfast
Room was a little small for the price
Great location, Quiet, clean, great room service.
Had to hunt for the mini bar/refrigerator in the standard room. Small closet, but everything you needed was there.
Very polite, helpful, accommodating staff. Well decorated rooms, luxurious bed linen, lovely bathroom. Complimentary mini-bar, which was well stocked with soft drinks and fresh milk. Decent wi-fi
Beautiful hotel, lots of nice touches, super-friendly & helpful staff.
Teensy, teensy room. Service in the Drawing room was occasionally unavailable.
The beautiful decor The helpful staff and concierge Stunning breakfast buffet with quality food and great coffee The location - super close to South Kensington tube station The tea lounge
What's not too like!
-Location was excellent, close to shops and the tube station. -Surrounded by beautiful buildings. -Walking distance to museums and excellent shops. -Lovely friendly helpful staff -Fantastic sized room and bathroom. -Free secure Wi-Fi with easy access -Very clean and freshly decorated -Delicious breakfasts and good value by London standards. -Turn right outside the hotel and there are loads of restaurants down the streets that run off this road. I think I counted seven in a small area. I will definitely recommend to friends and family and can't wait to return on my next trip.
Great location Stylish design Very helpful staff
Price on the high side
Position, kindness of the staff, top quality services, superb decor
Only the the food in the restruant
the hotel is beautiful and very close to the metro station. also the showers are very clean and nice with heated floor. there was a very good restaurant for breakfast/ lunch by the metro station close to the hotel.we had an amazing time in london!
The style of the hotel is wonderful; modern, clean, very appealing. The staff was superb, very helpful and friendly. The amenities in the room were excellent; loved the free beverages in the fridge and coffee and tea. Bathroom very functional with shelf space instead of a counter. Lovely shower, and great bath products. Bed was very comfortable. No noise whatsoever at night, a huge plus! Lots of restaurants and pubs in the neighborhood, and very close to the SoKen Underground station.
The room was smaller than I would have liked - if someone were sitting at the desk, you couldn't get around from one side of the bed to the other. Not a deal breaker for me, but you'd expect a few more inches for the price! It's not an inexpensive hotel to say the least, but of course, London isn't a cheap destination. For a special occasion, staying at the Ampersand was worth it.
