The staff really did provide excellent customer service. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in. Food was delicious and the wine list excellent as well as good value.

staff were welcoming and friendly, squeezed us in for a late lunch as we were residents even though the restaurant was officially closed. Lunch was superb, fresh ingredients well cooked and presented. Our Suite was comfortable and spacious - we had an entire corridor with lounge, bathroom and bedroom off it! We were attending a family wedding so did not have dinner, but breakfast was delicious and HUGE, we were full until supper time. Again all fresh local ingredients well cooked and served piping hot. I especially liked the yohhurt and fruit compote, with chunky toast and marmalade. My partner enjoyed the full cooked breakfast with local sausages. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend break. I would definitely reccommend and would go again - but for longer. car parking is tight but if you are a resident and check in after lunch you will definitely find a space. Not a problem really.
