Location, price for overnight stay, pub charm, friendly staff.

Size of single room, poor shower, creaky floorboards and lack of tv reception.

as usual the reception staff were great in allowing an early check-in. Good breakfast choice and tasty food.

they allowed me to check in 2 hours early. Staff very helpful and friendly. Cheap-rate was excellent value. Breakfast was equally excellent. Nice ambience throughout. Given the same deal I'd go back there as my first choice any/every weekend!

Everything, especially the care from staff. When they knew my disabilities hindered me from walking alone and from coming down the stairs alone, they were always there to lend me their arm. When I was sat in the lounge they were attentive, coming over to ask if I needed anything. I stayed for 9 nights. The staff were friendly and very willing.

Although only a one night stay, I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the meal was excellent and the quality of the ale was extremely good being clear, at the correct temperature and tasty. The rooms are basic, but for me, I do not intend to spend that amount of time in there.

Great place to stay. Rooms very very small but to rest they are big enough.

Great location near London in a well cared for historic inn very near the Shepperton riverside. Rooms are modest and may be oddly shaped since it is in an old inn, but with in-suite baths. Free parking was available on site.

Room 34 so small couldnt even fit in a bedside table for lamp etc.

There is a lot I like about the Anchor. The staff is great; there is a number of people who stay there frequently, so a visit always becomes a bit of a reunion; the food is decent;

location, Was where i wanted to be, wanted to be near to walton-on-thames, surrey.

Thought the room could of been a bit more cleaner, was a hole in the ceiling where water was leaking/dripping, but after putting a report in to the manager was dealt with promtly.

Very nice ancient pub now refurbished.

Some of the rooms are above a spinning industrial fan.
