Good value for money.

Nice room, lovely atmosphere in restaurant and staff very helpful over providing a gluten free alternative .

Food great, location good, service good. Stayed here about 8 times in the last 6 months and made to feel like family. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. For business or pleasure this is where I would stay.
Sometime the phone reception is terrible. Not enough milk in rooms but went to reception and they handed over loads more.
Value for money Good parking Good value breakfast, dinner and drinks Facilities good for our purposes
Thin walls which meant late night noisier guests can be problematic
Clean great price everything was excellent
staff friendly..comfy clean rooms..a perfect stop off on the way to our holiday..
food was ok but not perfect.
Warm and clean
Walls very thin and the slightest noise came through!
I liked the rooms cleanliness and public areas, the breakfast was good.
I didn't like the amount of choice in the food on offer, this hotel is miles from any other place to eat and the choice is not up to date with what people want to eat these days. The choice of beer was very poor.
good food at a competitive price , and very helpful staff.
Good accommodation Spacious bedroom and bathroom Eating arrangements and facilities Excellent service
Staff very friendly and the restaurant was very good.
On a rather fast road.
Particularly impressed with the Reception staff who were friendly, attentive and most accommodating. Angel ale! Restaurant good and value for money.
Nothing to dislike. Except sticky table surface - despite being cleaned by restaurant staff.
The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed, all necessary facilities were present. The staff were friendly and helpful creating a good atmosphere. All seemed efficient too. I would go back there.

Relaxed Motel style
Room was airless and lacked a fresh feel to it.
Very reasonable food
Very comfortable and handy for Winchester. Good carvery and staff very helpful.
no major weaknesses
Very pleased with the quality of the facilities and staff. Everyone was friendly and accommodating with our two little ones.
I suffer from a bad back and was pleased to find the twin bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on.
value for money, cleanliness, food, friendliness and helpfulness of staff
not for those reliant on public transport bedroom very small less than 30cms between bed and unit
Very conveniently situated for ferry to Spain. Room clean and comfortable. Food available was excellent in very pleasant surroundings.
Excellent value for money.
everything was great apart from the bed!
Sleep was not good, I was under the impression there were Hypnos beds (the reason I chose The Angel) but it was like sleeping on a bad of nails in room 123, other than that things were great
Convenient to get to and a good central location. Hotel has a nice setting but main road can be very noisy.good wholesome food at a value for money rate.rooms are fairly basic but clean and tidy.overall good value
The noisy main road. Shower could do with a revamp
