location , standards very good , staff good .i arrived as part of a large group ex raf regiment and between the angel, and the prem Inn, an red ? 150 of us stayed i shall be recommending the angel to the group for next year reunion.

Location was very handy for all amenities

Cleanliness of the room was poor and wifi reception was very disappointing and difficult to connect to in the room.

Luxury room booked did not look like the picture on website!! Radiator in our room 212 had faulty thermostat and was constantly on at highrst setting.room was over bearingly boiling hot all night, did not notice thermostat was broken on arrival only during the night when trying to turn down heating, by this time it was too late to ask for repair/change rooms. Did report to staff in the morning tho and they said maintenance will see to it.

The rooms were very well presented and the facilities were excellent. Well located for trip to grantham town centre.

The rooms were cold, with no heating on during one of the coldest nights of the year. there was also an error with the booking that took a day to resolve due to fault of the hotel.

The spacious room (215) the friendly staff but most of all compliments must go to the chef and their Team- excellent presentation, good quality produce, good flavours.

We only stayed one night and had no complaints

I had stated by phone that we needed 3 rooms in the main hotel - this was agreed but on arrival 1 of the party had to be put in the annexe as others had arrived before us- not good Tiredness of the place It was expensive for what we got. No bidet

Convenient llocation.. Friendly Welcoming staff. Room and Hotel nice and warm on a very cold evening... Parking facilities good.

The Bathroom was not clean...plenty of dust... The net curtain was very worn and had holes in it. My beside light did not work... I know this happens, but it demonstrates that the room was not checked properly.

Fantastic building and rooms. Free car parking and location. This has the potential to be an outstanding hotel.

One niggle, I informed the hotel that we would be arriving at 9.45pm and that we had an 8 week old baby with us. Upon arrival I asked if there was any food available, the answer was no, but there are takeaways in the town. To be truly outstanding the hotel could have asked us if we wanted food upon booking or prepared something.

You cannot rate all staff (above) with one click. The lady at reception was excellent, friendly and welcoming. Quite charming. The breakfast staff were somewhat sullen and curt. I think they were foreign. Our room was quiet. For foreign tourists, the hotel is very English. The WiFi works well. Car parking was excellent.

The stairs, there are rather a lot of them. The towel rail in the room dripped and a bowl had been placed under the drip. We emptied it ourselves. The heating seems to go off during the day and comes on again at night and in room 211 there was no apparent way of controlling the temperature.

I was truly impressed by the welcome I received from Sylvia. She was incredible and clearly knew what excellent customer service looked like. The bar staff were great also. I booked a luxury room and was again impressed - they know the true meaning of the word luxury. Very impressed and great value for money.

The only thing that frustrated me was it too about 10 minutes of the shower being turned on before any hot water came out and the chain was broken on the door. Minor really in the grand scheme of things.
