Evening menu good and very friendly and efficient bar staff and waitress.

Mould in bathroom, poor cleanliness - things felt sticky , definite lack of attention to detail. Coffee cup at breakfast had coffee stains on it. I could see it why couldn't the staff?

comfortable public rooms, facilities. Staff friendly and efficient.Nice big garden area with field leading to river.

We booked a premium room ( the last available on the website I think). From 6.30 a.m to 11 p.m there was a lot of noise from machinery associated with the kitchen. For the rest of the time there was a lower pitched, intermittent, hum from some other machinery. The room was unbearably hot throughout our three night stay. Only one window in the bedroom opened, which made no difference to the heat, nor did a fan. The toilet cistern had a brick in it, presumably to save water, but as a consequence it was very slow to refill, then usually needed more than one flush to clear the bowl. The flush mechanism was not easy to operate and my wife caught her knuckle between the handle and the cistern lid. As she takes warfarin this caused sustantial swelling and bruising , which is taking several days to subside.Rather hot water came out of the cold water tap when turned on, not simply due to the ambient temperature, because the water was far too hot for that explanation. I don.t think the room justifies its " Premium" tag and told all this when we were asked at reception on checking out.We were invited to send our comments by email, but the lady we were speaking to was making notes and I feel our verbal conversation should be enough for them to review this room. We didn't see any other accommodation in the hotel.

Old coaching Inn with lots of character centrally positioned in the beautiful town of Pershore. Friendly, attentive service and freshly cooked breakfast.

Room was a bit musty with some damp mould on the bathroom wall - bathroom needed and extractor fan.

Great location, friendly staff and good food

Rooms look good in pictures, but in real life are worn and need attention. Showers not great, more a trickle than a shower.

Building, Situation. Atmosphere in Bar Areas.

Food poor - limited choice of menu. For a "luxury" room facilities were limited - chairs provided but nowhere to sit in them. almost no toiletries provided. some staff disinterested. Bedside lighting very poor.

The position and parking. The staff were polite and friendly

Bedroom rather tired, bathroom door did not fully close. On sunday too many items of food were off. Daily spe3cials remained the same for 4 nihts, each night losing one or more dishes.

We had the Malvern, the room was luxurious, very comfortable, warm, with all the mod cons. The bathroom was huge and spotless. The breakfast was lovely, even the beans and brown sauce got served in pot. Excellent parking facilities ... Would we stay here again? Oh yes :O)

    Couldn't grumble about anything

Pleasant, very friendly, good food and a good selection of drinks. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Comfortable seating in the bar area.

Restaurant service a bit slow, menu items not indicated as not available until after trying to order. But, staff very friendly and apologetic.

Nice welcome. A male staff helped to carry my suitcase up short flight of stairs. The room and bathroom were good. Perhaps it would be good idea to install a handrail on wall for shower/bath for disabled person to grab while getting into. The staff were lovely. Breakfast and evening meal were good. In whole we enjoyed our stay.

I am aware that the building is very old. I would have thought it is possible to install a special lift for disabled persons. On leaving I was struggling with short flight of stairs with a suitcase. I was grateful for young male guest for his assistance.
