Central location in town with a good car park. Staff polite & helpful, Restaurant & Food Good.
At time of visit weather very poor & cold. No C/H heating on in room. An electric fan heater was available which did help combat the cold. However this was a distraction with its noise when trying to carry out some paper work or watch TV in room. As in previous reviews mattress on bed still very poor.
The room was spacious, the staff were gracious, the room and bathroom were clean.
The room: Damp Radiators in room were not working properly even on the Max setting they were at best body temp. There was a fan heater provider. The room was very tired and needed redecorating but clean.
We liked the staff, location to the centre of the town, free car parking and resident's bar open late.
nothing comes to mind, but we were there for only one night, but I would definitely book it again if we need to return to Market Harborough!
Very convenient to town centre. Evening meals a generous good quality bar meal.
Beds uncomfortabe and creaky. Very sloping floor in room and passageway above ground floor. An old and well used/tired feeling about room.
a change from the more modern hotel, good size room
a little rushed at breckfast as not very large dinning room
I like that it is a cozy comfortable stay with a restaurant serving tasty meals along with a well stocked bar. I always enjoy my stay at the Angel hotel which is excellently located in town.
We were made very welcome on arrival, and when requested they made a ground floor room immediately available. Good location
The Hotel is currently undergoing extensive upgrade and the front of the buyilding is covered in scaffolding, but guests will only benefit from all of this work eventually.
Location and price fine
Staff very pleasant and helpful, reception desk very kind and genuinely happy and friendly.
Food appalling , badly cooked and the salad had obviously been served before and merely topped up.
Staff was pleasant.
My Diet is pure vegetarian with no onion/garlics. I had brought my own food. I was not given the service of getting it heated. The conference hall was quite stuffy.
Situated in the town centre. Real ale in the bar. Tasty breakfast.
My room was in the stable block at ground level, smokers stood and chatted right outside. Also it was by the route to the car park. Breakfast staff unorganised.
Outside stable room was shabby, smelt of damp even in good summer weather and poorly sealed , can see through daylight through door via split/rotting wood.
The accommodation was great, spacious and comfortable room with good facilities, we felt really relaxed. The staff were so pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. We were meeting up with friends for a birthday celebration and although the restaurant was closed on the Sunday night we had a very pleasant evening with good food and excellent service in the bar. Breakfast was excellent too.
Bar downstairs V good value at £58 for a double room with en-suite Good selection of toiletries, including hair conditioner which is often not supplies so was s nice touch! Free parking in site Would stay again
Only one spare plug point in room to use kettle, hair dryer, hair straightener, chargers for phone etc, could do with an extension lead. Temperature of ware very variable. Runs boiling hot one minute then freezing cold the next
Right in the heart of Mkt. Harborough. Next to shops, restaurants and road network. Comfortable seating areas and bar. Car parking at rear of hotel was vital.
Hotel needs an internal overhaul. Rooms are tired.
A very unique place, old carriage house. Our room was in the "stable" area -loved it!
Meal in the bar was good, a choice of more unusual dishes (cod with lentils and chorizo)
Shower didn't work at all well, bed was hard (although we are used to a softer bed).
Friendly staff. Central location. Good breakfast.
Rooms need upgrading in near future. Somewhat chilly in the evening but request for additional heating immediate response.
The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff were very helpful & friendly. We had our evening meal at the hotel too & throughly enjoyed it. It was altogether a very nice experience. Thank You
Staff are all very helpful Room comfortable Breakfast excellent Close to shops and restaurants thoroughly enjoyed our stay without the children
The staff were lovely and friendly. The breakfast was amazing and such good value.
The room was a little small but I am very tall and the hotel is very old. It didn't spoil my stay.
Location was prime for business engagement, the hotel very well kept and the staff helpful and friendly. Felt like a home from home.
Drinks & food , Waitress very friendly.
Rude manager on check in.Bed small, shower so small only a midget could fit in.
Bar area and bar food very good
Grouting in bathroom needs attention as black and mouldy
The staff were really welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were good.
My room No 6 smelt of damp BUT it was quiet being at the back of the hotel.
