almost everything! Lovely staff, beautiful room, nice and easy environment, breakfast was very good. Highly recommended.
double twin room, meaning there are two beds in the double room, one of them slightly bigger, but still rather small for a couple. Mean shower!!! cooked us for no reason!!
Perfect for a weekend break, excellent location not too far from the city centre, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Can't fault anything,
According to my wife a rug in our room no 6 was not very beatiful :)
the cleanliness of the hotel and the room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was freshly cooked and sevice first class
comfy, clean, and excellent staff
lack of car parking, i had to park in another hotels carpark down the road.
The little bit of difference that other hotels do not provide. A teapot on the tray instead of putting tea bags into a cup. Shampoo and shower gel in dispensers in the shower. Double glazed windows that actually open easily. A waitress service for breakfast instead of a buffet that sometimes the food is not always hot.
The television was too dark and was in need of adjusting. The pipe from shower to shower head leaking so a loss of pressure.
The manager was very helpful. Also free accessible parking available
I have stayed at The Angus before and will again. It is conveniently situated, welcoming, and comfortable.
Very clean Handy for Hadrian Cycle Way Value for money Friendly reception
The hotel is spotless, I mean spotless. It is so fresh and tidy, it was lovely. Lovely breakfast, and really helpful and efficient check in and out. Great value. It feels like a big guest house but there is a pub right on the other side of the road if you're not quite ready for bed. Well done
Very welcoming and comfortable
The breakfast was very nice and the service was prompt and efficient.
It was difficult to get the luggage up the stairs. The ensuite in our room was tiny with the toilet wedged between a wall and the shower. The room was very stuffy. The car parking is down the road.
The location was great with an easy walk into town. The room was clean and the ensuite well appointed with all you could need. Plenty of hot water! The hosts were very efficient and booked us in quickly.
Not much to dislike other than some noisy bird life nearby!
Stylish. Great breakfast.. Comfortable beds.
We received a warm welcome, to this well located hotel which is just a 10 min wander (with 3 young kids) into town. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding! Would be happy to recommended to others.
Lack of a ramp at the front of the hotel and a lift inside was a slight inconvenience.
cosy,spacious room,helpful staff,good pub opposite,free parking,clean
one of the table lamps didn't work,no beans or hash brown with breakfast
Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The accommodating and friendly staff, the comfy bed, equipped shower, GREAT breakfasts, a BEAUTIFUL short walk to the city centre and the train station, the nearness of history and walking with the cows along the Eden River.
Clean crisp rooms Friendly helpful host
Easy walk into city centre
Very good service Cleanliness everwhere excellent Bedrooms good Breakfast very nice Permit provided by hotel for parking in car park beside hotel Good value
Friendly, good value for money
Staff were very helpful
family room a little squashy. Very odd toilet system-"shredder"?? very noisy
The location is good only a 5-10 min walk to the city. Room was lovely and the hospitality was great. It is a lovely place to stay. Very clean, beautiful bathroom. It was nice to see that they provide more than 4 milk cartons for your tea/coffee. I would definitely recommend the Angus.
