We stayed in the Boleyn Hotel as a young couple, wanting to stay over night before we visited Thorpe Park. It is in a great location, fives minutes from the theme park, next to the river, and a 5-10 minute walk into Staines town centre. We booked a deluxe room (rm no. 200), which was very modern and accomodating with a large bed (two singles pushed together), nicely decorated, flat screen TV on wall, and a lovely bathroom. Requested a four poster bed (reason I booked the hotel) but didn't get one.

Proximity to airport, good parking, very reasonable, very good staff, recently renovated- new furnishings. The bathroom, though new, stylish and visibly clean, smelled of mould. There was no elevator, however the staff readily offered to carry my suitcase up.

Location for my business trip was perfect. Proximity to the thames for a nice riverside evening walk. Walls were a bit thin could hear the TV' in the next room but not too bad.

The room was excellent-spacious and clean. Thank you putting a mirror and plug point next to the dressing table-a first I think! The bed was absolutely superb. I think my bed at home is comfortable but this bed surpassed it. The bathroom was spacious for a hotel. Overall a very good experience and we stay in a lot of hotels. The bar!!!! We came back from our eveningmel for a night cap and were amazed when we entered the bar to find that it was no better than a barn with over bright lighting, men watching sports tv, no atmosphere/music/candles/subdued lighting. Not very relaxing to be honest. Could it be made more cosy? Also small point but the shower was a little weird to use-switching from water pouring to fill the bath to the shower function was a problem. (We were in room 102) Was this a fault or a design problem?

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel after a day at Thorpe Park. Immediately loved the room, it was very spacious and clean, the bed was huge and so comfortable. Bathroom was luxury, lovely shower and facilities. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again, well worth the money. The room was lovely decorated

Room was very clean and modern. Looked very new. Breakfast, only had a bacon sandwich but bacon was completely overcooked. Left it in the end. Not a great choice for the price.

Good communication prior to arrival They accomodated our early check-in request Nice room; clean, quiet and good size (with Tea & Coffee making facilities) Large bath with shower over (great as I am pregnant) Staff were all very pleasant Information in the room was useful Had to ask reception staff things that I would expect to be told, i.e. where is breakfast served? What time is breakfast? What time are the doors locked (we were going to a wedding reception)? But they were very forthcoming when asked.

Room was very well appointed Rooms on the front of the hotel have single glazed windows. As a consequence there was a considerable amount of noise from the street outside.

The decor and comfort were above average and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly - they went the extra mile to ensure and enjoyable stay. Being woken up several times by what sounded like 4-6 people coming into the room next door to us at 2.30am, talking in the corridor then moving onto another room closeby where we could still faintly hear them, then finally going to their respective rooms at around 4.30am - very inconsiderate!

The comfortable bed. The bathroom. Hairdryer and iron etc. The food... My husband and I stay in hotels a fair bit, and there are two things that you want, expect and enjoy in a hotel the first is a clean and comfy room, the second is the breakfast! I am afraid that I have to say that the standard of your 'Full English Breakfast' is terrible! I would expect better from Travellodge! And that's saying something. I will list the things that you really need to think about, seriously, you would lose stars for this I promise you! 1. It arrived only luke warm. 2. I cut into the Hash Brown and it was actually still frozen... I had to ask for another! 3. The quality of the sausages was terrible... low grade, mushy and cheap. 4. The bacon had been under the hot plate for too long and was not chewable... it was also dark on one side and light on the other! YUK 5. The orange juice was from concentrate and not freshly squeezed. We don't expect it to be squeezed on the premises but you can easily purchase better quality!!!! NOT 'from concentrate'. I stayed at The Swan a year ago and I have to say the breakfast there was far better. Breakfast is the thing that EVERY traveller looks forward to! Sooooo disappointing!

The staff were more then helpful and so polite,Cleanliness and decor of the rooms were to excellent taste. The views and area were not expected and very pleasing. Infact the web site does not give this hotel justice. Its a must go to see. Also the saffron resturant is a must eat . I certainly will be visiting again. There is nothing not to like

We stayed at The Anne Bolyn as we were going to a family party in Staines, my sister lives there, the rooms were decorated very well bed comfortable, staff friendly, only one small gripe would be my sister is suffering with breast cancer and wasn't too well in the morning and I explained this to the room maid but she did persist in knocking on the door just before 11.00am when check out is at 11.00am and again 5 minutes later which I felt was to much! Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would love to try the restaurant Saffron which belongs to the Hotel.

It was very pleasant. I checked in and had to go to a wedding shortly after arrival. The receptionist was charming and extremely helpful, phoning for a taxi whilst I was putting my suitcase in the room, I returned late at night and had a good nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Very quiet room at the rear of the hotel. My car was parked in a spacious car park. The hotel was very clean and tidy The breakfast selection was huge and the full English breakfast absolutely superb--and plenty of it, too. Check out took seconds. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at the Boleyn and would definitely stay there again and I recommend it highly. All good. Nothing adverse

Hotel has been renovated. Rooms are clean and they have a good shower. Two most important things to me as a business traveller. I liked that they made a fresh omelet for breakfast. It is much better than the Mercure in Staines. There is no real spaceious lobby. This is due to the fact that the hotel is located in regular houses that are internally joined. But this is in every hotel is Staines. But it therefore lacks the feeling that it is a "hotel". Limited choice of food for breakfast. Although the fresh made omelet makes up for it.
