Kitchen is a plus point for lite cooking.
Staff were so friendly and helpful, even booking us a cab to the O2. The room was warm when we walked in, bedding was thick and soft. Freeview and wifi were really great additions to the room. The pub itself was a relaxed rustic place that was open til midnight on a Sunday, added benefit of only being a walk away from our room.
Bathroom was a bit small and outdated but we were only there for one night so it didn't matter, it was very clean.
I've stayed here twice now and have booked again for two weeks time it's great value for money and excellent to get to the O2
The location was perfect for the 02 with train and bus outside the door.
No issues at all
- They upgraded my room for no cost - Staff is ready at every hour - Clear conditions and instructions - Water boiler + coffee and tea in the room - Good bed and good sleep! - Just a couple of steps to Charlton train station - Places to eat and a supermarket in a 3 minutes walk range
- Nearest tube is 10 min by bus (North Greenwich)
Staff were nice Room was big enough
Right on top of very busy street Tiny bathroom Very sparse Pub next door is 'locals only' type Middle of nowhere
Large Room and bathroom.
Noisy with large glass panel above door. Every time someone used the corridor, it felt like someone was shaking the room door. Every time the corridor light went on the room was flooded with light. Difficult to sleep.
The guy at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Huge room. Good shower. There's a very nice Thai restaurant 5 minutes' walk away.
Long distance to travel to London City Airport because of needing to cross the Thames - taxi costs £18.
Clean, quality accommodation conveniently located next to buses and trains, and within easy distance of eateries, local supermarkets. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was a good size with tea/coffee making facilities and TV.
Room smelled quite musty until it was aired a little bit. Bathroom quite small , and pokey. Mattresses are well worn and a bit too soft to be really comfortable. Despite these minor issues, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Bit of an issue getting into the accommodation initially. The bar sent us to a door around the corner, but there was no one manning the buzzer to let us in. Eventually a long-term patron at the hotel came along and allowed us in along with him. Otherwise. You get what you pay for. This is a no-trims hotel, and doesn't claim to be anything more. But its clean, comfortable and in an excellent location for O2 events.
Not a lot, close to train station was about the only thing
Bathroom, beds, noise from pub, no chairs, no bed side table,
Everything! Friendly helpful staff. Right beside Charlton Train Station. TV and WiFi in room. Room was warm and spacious. Beds were very comfortable, giving the best nights sleep I've had in years. Excellent price.
Not The Hilton, but actually difficult to find any faults. Accessibility would be a problem I think.
The staff was very friendly. They have good advice on how to get places
Found a flea in my bed. Beds where broken and loud. Woke up with a stuffed shoulder. The main door to back entrance don't lock.
Staff Helpful; Nice location, just take the train to the London Bridge or Waterloo East Station and you're in the center; The double room was in the corner of the hotel, nice view; You can make coffee and tea in the room; Nice kitchen, if you want to make your own meal, you can do it; Is old, but very cosy, comfortable and clean.
The double room was in the corner of the hotel so is quite noisy, I don't mind but if you don't like cars and ambulance noise, maybe it could bored you; Is hard to let the shower (small one) with a nice temperature, too hot or too cold.
Very close to the O2 arena and also very close to centre of London.
Area did not seem the most safe area however was good value.
Really not meant to be a hotel
It was convenient for the event in Charlton and next to the railway station for ease of access into London Bridge. No noise from the pub.
Room in the roof was a bit dark with only a skylight.
Good size room, unique layout of hotel, stones throw from the train station, short bus ride from The O2 Arena.
One night there was a Charlton home match. And the smoking area for the pub was right outside my room. With people sat on the door step. As a 23 year old girl, it was quite intimidating to walk out my room. And the noise was terrible with all the lairy shouting punters.
Taking a shower was hard due to low water pressure
room was clean and tidy. staff helpfull
i have no complaints
nice spaceous room. Clean. Very close to train station.
Location on noisy street. Neighbourhood not very nice. Outside of Hotel looks dodgy. No breakfast.
The room was clean and comfortable.
The bar was a bit of a dive and the noise from the road was a little bit too much.
The staff were absolutely fantastic, helped with all my bags, had no problem offering assistance for everything (booking taxi's etc) Free kitchen use, good wifi signal, clean room. Great value for money. (Stayed in a private room)
Not an ideal location on a busy road
everything was good
nothing was bad
The hotel was clean, the staff helpful.
It was on a very noisy main road. The photo on website did not represent what we found. There were no restaurants nearby. Knowing what I now know, I would not have chosen to stay there.
