The Clarendon overlooks historic Blackheath and Greenwich Park for a village atmosphere just 15 minutes from central London by train.

This Georgian-style hotel is next to the National Maritime Museum, and overlooks Greenwich Park and the Thames River. Buses to the O2 Arena stop very close by.
Score from 1029 reviews Very good
Bed was comfortable.
Neighborhood and security codes on the doors. Drafty room and funny smell in the toilet room.
Nice clean hotel, friendly staff. Very basic accommodation right next to train station. not for the posh set!! Workingman's pub down stairs, nice for a pint. ensuites available, otherwise shared bathrooms (very clean).
Next to busy road, so not good if you are a light sleeper.
It's located on a bus route and a tube route which is good. It was clean and secure not a chain hotel, a snap-shot of what it's like to live in London, pub a working class pub, good experience
low water pressure in shower in room and only very hot water on a busy street so can be noisy
There was really nice and clean and the price is really fare all the staffs are really friendly
The chairs in room and close to railway.
Low bed. Accessibility issues. No parking safe , close and free. No knowledge of kitchen prior to visit.
Great location for me for Woolwich/Greenwich. Good transport links. Friendly/helpful staff. Value for money would be hard to beat.
A bit noisy from local pub and busy main road. Basic - but then again cheap, so you gets what you pays for?
Rom with en suite very pleasant and comfortable, staff friendly. Convenient for Greenwich and Woolwich, 177 bus was frequent and stopped outside.
the room was quite big and clean. Towels were clean as well.
WE came in very late and ranged the bell, no one came and had to wait out for 15 mins and had to go through the pub to let them know that we were waiting outside. Also the pub is was below a lot of noise of people talking and music.
Friendly and flexible staff! Fully stocked kitchen.
The cleaning of rooms/bathrooms in morning "rushour". Had to wait for bathroom being available because of them being cleaned.
Private bathroom was worth paying for
Room was cold Room smelled of must and cheap bleach Attached to a run down pub
the room was very clean and the workers were really nice. about location, is a bit far from London (30 min in train) but good connection
The lack of a descent shower No information on places to get food from
bed room clean near by shops near by train
environment can be bit intimidating
Door constantly slammed share toilet and shower should of been of cheaper than £55 mattress was stained
Nice clean room, you could make tea/coffee
When you got in the "reception" hallway the smell of the railway/stadium pub is debilitating. Expensive + they hold guarantee for the key (so its a bad-news hotel) No breakfast (maybe that is a good thing I wouldn't eat in that pub even if they paid me) Middle of nowhere No hairdryer in the room, you could ask for one from reception but not if you realise in the middle of the night after you have had a shower.
It is near to the rail station
Position is very far to the tube to London Bathroom smells No change sheets and towel for 3 days After 12 pm the receptionist was drunk! The room was noisy They asked 10 pounds deposit for keys!
An excellent price. Cosy room but by no meant too small, quiet, clean & tidy, fresh white sheets, good shower room, parking on the door step, station just over the road, friendly helpful staff. Although not having a breakfast/restaurant isn't everyone's cup-of-tea, I really would recommend giving this a try if you're on a budget & plan to be out & about in London & just want a place to sleep. I would definitely stay here again
The pub at the front is a little shabby looking but once you're in the hotel at the back (separate building) you wouldn't know it's there
Close to the trains and buses to London
Our room was located by the main street -very noisy 24 hours.WI-Fi works only in the common room on the 3-rd floor, full of backpackers-one computer for all. Bathrooms very basic and old.
Very noisy Dusty Not a good hotel for summer
Quick and easy check in. Comfortable and airy room. Great value for money. Just 10 mins from the O2.
we loved how close it was in the morning to get from the hotel to the london city airport.
shower pressure was very weak but they did have signs to warn people about this problem.
Location was good. About 1.5 miles to O2, which was okay to walk, but we had the weather for it... I didn't check alternative ways to get there, like the bus for example Right by Charlton station, so easy to get to Triple room was basic but adequate for somewhere to crash after a night out at the O2 No complaints here Would recommend for anyone looking for cheap accommodation near the O2
Nothing, it was fine.
The fellow on check in was nice.
Smell of rooms was very musty Lock on door seemed flimsy Shower was small and spilled water everywhere Bed uncomfortable and lumpy Not a great area if your looking for London City experience Wi-Fi was temperamental
