Food very good
Shower did not work. Room very hot even in February opened window but lorries constantly passing at night
Noisy room above toilets. Woken up at 7 am by cleaners downstairs.
Comfortable bed, reasonable shower, very generous well cooked breakfast.
Room very nice, food very nice. Stayed overnight for our20th wedding anniversary. Would stay again.
location and ease of use for stay overs with family locally
Very conveniently situated
Food reasonably priced, but felt that the cheese salad had far too much cheese therefore a waste
Shower too small, shower had no power, no comfortable chair to sit in, bed far too hard and the springs creeked when you moved. Noises ventilation from kitchen and bins banging late at night.
Great food portions, fast ,free wifi, friendly staff
The food was very good
good food at a great price
Food & room comfort
Room was cold on arrival
Location 2 minutes from M42 junction 11 but quiet. Room and bed good and breakfast menu was excellent. Would stay again.
No hooks in bathroom.
Great service and value for money!
Chose this as it was close to where family were staying. Good accomodation for the money although the whole hotel had food smells . Staff were friendly . Didnt try the evening food . Breakfast was served to your table and was basic but adequate .
i stay hear twice a month and it never fails to meet up to a very good hotel/pub
Staff were very good and helpful at all times.very clean.
Poor lighting in bathroom
Rooms large, clean, pleasant. Staff helpful. Breakfast good. Good value for money. Extremely happy with stay & would happily stay there again.
Showers took a while to warm up
easy access to major roads and attractions such as Conkers and Twyford Zoo
rooms were a bit too hot
I'm working in Atherstone and have tried the Red Lion and a place in Nuneaton, but will spend the remaining time at the AH, The food is great. As a traveller away from home the two things you require is a nice comfortable room good internet connection, this has both. The staff are great and I cannot fault the food, it's not al a carte, but then Its not al a carte price. There are at least 12 specials on the board, so plenty to choose from. The service is good too. Good location for zoo. Plenty of parking. Kids play area, good breakfast.
Shower - like a watering can! blankets rather than duvets on beds.
Clean, good value rooms well located for Twycross Zoo. Decent sized (if a little basic) rooms. Good kids play area and large breakfast room, bar and dining room.
Not the hotel's fault but beware of booking taxis to the Zoo as there are no local firms so have to pay a premium - £12 for a miles journey (literally!) before midnight and £25 after!
Breakfast unavailable until 08:30 on Sunday - too late for me (although I did receive a discount) Old fashioned electric shower with very poor flow rate
