Located to the north of Weymouth and close to the sea, Premier Weymouth is a comfortable, good-value base with free parking and an on-site Brewers Fayre restaurant.

Less than a 1-minute walk from Weymouth Train Station, Clifton Hotel offers comfortable rooms and cooked breakfasts on the Dorset coast.
Score from 59 reviews Very good
Comfortable and clean rooms, good breakfast.
Business trip - wanted to relax in room for the evening but shame the TV didn't work.
The Hotel is a little tired and in need of updating. The ensuite was small with a cramped wc. The breakfast was not particularly appealing, more like a greasy truckers cafe from the 80's.
It was our second visit and we loved it ... No negatives at all , would recommend to anyone
Room was a bit small (This time)
Extremely expensive for the quality, ridiculous breakfast... They advertise that the breakfast is included but then a £5 voucher is what you got... for a 3 star hotel and £115 a night is just ridiculous! Will not stay there again!
Diver friendly, food, beer
All good could be a tad cheaper
Bed and spacious room. Free parking
Water from shower was coming out slowly. No wardrobe.
The hotel could do with a facelift I feel if money was spent sprucing it up a bit and catering improved it would attract a larger return of clientele
Very helpful staff on arrival, room very clean and comfortable. Had a good evening meal
On checking out asked for availability for following weekend for 4 nights, computer was not working so they could not tell me and then did not follow up with the promised phone call
Friendly staff, great bathrooms, comfortable beds.
Rooms very warm.
Clean rooms, staff really pleasent and ready to help The bar and service was excellent, and the dinner we had was great We were on a scuba diving weekend and the hotel ticked all the boxes
The staff were very friendly and helpful, when we needed a fan to help cool the room there was no problem.
breakfast café price food quality For the price you pay for B&B here is way over the top as it does not represent value for money - if we had paid £50 per room inclusive that would be more realistic.
Great staff - very friendly. Food superb and not expensive. Room spacious and clean. Breakfast excellent and not rushed - can order up to 3pm. Lovely hotel and would definitely stay again when visiting this part of the UK.
Location - hotel seemed isolated and there is not even a local shop in the vicinity. If on holiday you will either need to use the car or local buss. The only local attraction is Portland Castle. Shame the navy was re-located as many buildings in the area now derelict.
Location very good and staff pleasant and efficient. Cooked breakfast was very good quality and service excellent.
Noise from other guests, notably a group who got up at 5 a.m., slammed every door, and had shouted conversations from their rooms to the car park!
Location is good for Weymouth. Breakfast is served all day and very flexible with food combinations. Room was very bright and airy. Parking was easy. Guests have a key for 24h easy access.
Staff were not welcoming despite our cheerful greeting and we felt upset and insulted. In fact, the lady was very rude. We definitely did not feel welcome. However, subsequent interactions improved - she must have been having a bad day. But you shouldn't take it out on the guests. The lady in the cafe was very pleasant. The level of cleanliness is mixed. There was never a clean table in the cafe (we had to clean ourselves a space each morning) and the hall/stairwell were very dirty. But the room was clean, although socks on the laminate floors got black pretty quick. Room service: beds were made up but the bathroom was not tidied/towels not folded/glasses not washed or replaced.
nice room good views and good parking
shower very slow but the bathroom was nice, cafe was more like a transport café although staff was very nice, stair case could do with a jolly good vacuuming
The food was excellent, both at breakfast and for dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great for exploring Portland and Chesil Beach.
I would have liked softer pillows.
It was clean We had a nice view
The room on the top floor had a loud macerating toilet flush. The door fell off the shower when you tried to use it and shower pressure was low. Breakfast was of poor quality and the staff in the cafe where it was served had struggled to keep up with the volume of guests. We waited about 25 mins for our food.
Cheerful welcome, clean and comfortable. Food was well cooked and tasty.
Shower was a bit small but other than that I enjoyed my stay.
Basic but clean and well worth the money which was quite cheap.
Room was clean and spacious, has everything you need for a short stay. Check out is a little early but on the plus side they serve an all day breakfast, so time is not restricted here.
Staff were friendly, location was good, room size was good, bath in en suite.
Blackout curtain was hanging from one side, towel size was small, shower water pressure was low but adaquate.
Modern room WiFi Clean Good food
Water pressure low Baking hot room Meal ordered at the bar took an hour to arrive
Every thing was wonderful no complaints at all
