The Arden Hotel Stratford  

The Arden Hotel is perfectly positioned opposite the Avon river and theatre and close to town. Plenty of free parking. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room, a Superior Double, infact had a huge King size bed, extremely comfortable with lovely pillows, spotlessly clean with a large ensuite, although we knew there was a shower over the bath the bath has high sides so could be differcult for some people to get into. And lastly the cooked English breakfast was very tasty, in all a lovely stay only wished it could of been longer.

As all big hotels there was a wedding the day we stayed but our room was away from the Reception so we were not disturbed apart from the guest in the room above who were abit heavy footed.

Friendly and professional staff, lovely surroundings, beautifully refurbished, excellent breakfast, fruit in room, complimentary water, tea, coffee etc in fridge.... Location could not be better and car parking excellent.

The Hotel is extremely well located near all the historic buildings and the centre of town all within walking distance. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was well fitted and comfortable with seating, TV and coffee making facilities. We had a large en-suite with dressing gowns and plenty of towels. The breakfasts were excellent.

We were very disappointed with the restaurant and the evening meals. We felt that it rather let the hotel down. The meals were not up to a standard of a first class hotel.

We had a beautiful room that overlooked the river , and it was wonderful to just walk across the road after our visit to the theatre. Breakfast was also excellent.

Our room was very hot.

Location suited us perfectly. Facilities suited us well. Staff were friendly and supportive. Night service was quick, helpful and just what we needed. Wife wants to return!

We love Stratford and our hotel base enhanced this visit.

The hotel has a brilliant location near the river, shops and theatres. It provided an excellent service without being fussy. We stayed only one night but would happily have stayed longer.

Choice of room labelling sometimes confusing as learning the route required rather than searching the tree pictures on the doors.

Warm friendly, professional staff, beautiful calm and very tasteful decor, quality linen and room, ours overlooked the river Avon and RSC theatre. Breakfast was perfect. Overall one of the best!!

Location, easy access to amenities. Evening meal was very nice both service & quality of food.

Room was not ready on arrival, no milk on second day, had to request fron reception, no spare loo roll. Not what you expect for the price we paid

Welcome and comfort and it's convenience for the theatre. The theatre dinner was fine and perfectly arranged.

One of the best hotels we have tried. The staff are friendly, helpful and very professional. Our room was very well equipped and tastefully furnished. We had a good nights sleep with no noise from other guests, which is unusual in hotels. We found the location excellent, right near the theatre and the town centre. We would happily make a return visit.

Couldn't fault the hotel, food was great, service was great and there was a lovely atmosphere about the place. perfect location for a theatre trip and loved that it was right in the middle of Stratford.

Room was too hot, but wouldn't stop us staying again.

Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were always ready to help. Hotel close to all amenities within the town centre.

We found that our hotel room and bathroom were far too hot, even altering the radiator the heat from the bathroom radiator seeped into the room. and although we could open the window as we were on the ground floor we thought having it open may create a security problem. However, this is our personal view and not one necessarily shared by all..

Excellent hotel. Brilliant location.

It is a fabulous hotel. We know it well and visit everytime we go to to the theatre in Stratford. It is great just crossing the road five mintutes befor play starts. The Arden do a very good 'room service' dinner that is available late after the show and can be taken in the bar.

Sometimes piped music can be annoying and so unnecessasary.

Staff extremely friendly, food both Breakfast and Dinner lovely and to high standard, on site parking very convenient, hotel room was clean and luxurious. Would certainly recommend to family and friends.
